NEW Elden Ring DLC Character REVEALED!

The armour looks like an Unalloyed Gold version of the Carian Knight set

The amount of Elden Ring news rn is driving me crazy, it can't come any sooner!

She... or he... is the Miquellan Knight. We know this because of the context clues in the main game and because of the Miquellan Knight Sword. 1) The Miquellan Knight Sword is stated to be made with the design of the Carian Knight Sword in mind. The same could be said of the armor. Most of the details in this Knight's armor set are identical to what can be found on the Carian Knight set, albeit some details like the cloth are different in order to represent Miquella. The White/Gold cloth is similar to the Haligtree Knights/Soldiers. It seems to also depict Miquella's Lily. 2) The Miquellan Knight Sword is said not to have been given to anyone, and this gives us a couple things to work with: a) This character is using a sword that doesn't exactly fit into their set design. There's not enough information to determine what the sword came from, but i agree it has some implications it is connected to Radagon, which will lead into the 3rd point... b) this character not properly ascending into a knight could tell us that they were rather young by the time Mohg intruded the Haligtree. They were perhaps Miquella's squire and couldn't be knighted before this event. I suspect this Knight swiped the armor before swiftly leaving Elphael to locate Miquella. The sword was probably abandoned in the tower we find it in because the Knight dropped it on accident while trying to sneak out. 3) Now that we see the hair and eyes, I believe this might be yet another descendant of Marika's... or more interestingly, Miquella's child. Radagon is implied to have appreciated and adored Miquella, and even gave him a gift in the form of Radagon's Ring of Light. I wouldn't be surprised if he gifted his grandchild a sword, which we see him wielding. 4) Since the gender is being purposefully left ambiguous, this makes even more connection to St. Trina, who is often mistaken as a female despite being known by some to be a boy. The voice actress being female can mean this character is either a female, or a young boy. Even if this is not a child of Miquella, they have some sort of connection and perhaps kinship as a result. I would be very happy if they added a summon sign for this Knight before fighting Mohg. It would be a nice addition. It's perfect. And no, I will not be killing them for their armor set as there's no guarantee it will even drop. I will do their quest to get ALL of the rewards. It is NEVER worth killing an NPC on your first run.

The braid on that character is also reminiscent of the haligtree footsoldier, soldier and knight helmets. Perhaps a character similar in symbolism to millicent. An offshoot, possibly a fragment of Miquella’s being.

If that character is Saint Trina, I see him/her tied to Miquella more like Jesus and God, not like Saint Trina is the alterego of Miquella but more like his spirit in human form

She is probably the drippyest NPC they’ve ever made She’s covering her eye I wonder if she’s similar to Melina

This has to be Miquella. No other NPC in the game has an art piece this meticulous. It had to be him. Even the belt is the same design as the ring on the withered hand

4:48 Adding on to this I also believe that Ranni functions in the same way. Marika is fated to become Radagon, Miquella is fated to become St. Trina, and Ranni is fated to become a god. What is interesting about this is that BOTH Miquella and Ranni were able to abandon their fate by divesting themselves of their own flesh, allowing them to walk their own paths.

I was going to say it could not be St Trina given they have one eye and this mysterious character has two, but I realize the sword is hiding the other one. 😮

I agree with this possibly being St. Trina. It says that Miquella abandoned his fate while showing St. Trina in the story trailer. Which could mean that St. Trina is searching for her/his missing half in Miquella and is recruiting is to help him/her find himself.

I don't think that's Trina. They basically confirmed Trina is Miquella's fate and he abandoned her in water or something as seen in the shot when he says this. This is probably a very important NPC, likely the leader of the group seen at the end of the trailer. She might actually be all-knowing unlike Gideon lmao

I think this is your “Melina” for the dlc, in my opinion she is like Miquella’s number 2 or his High priestess kind of follower, something like that.

st. trina is an evil alter ego of miquella who is in shadows realm separated from miquella's body. that knight is miquella's follower from haligtree. miquella may have told this story of marika's horrifying past to their followers before going to the shadow realm.

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who thought of Saint Trina when I saw her face and armor.

As a Nintendo Fanboy, there is no other game in recent years, other than BOTW and TOTK, that have bought me so much joy, wonder and awe in a video game. I'm on my 2nd playthrough of Elden Ring. I am a believer. While I won't be getting the DLC from day 1, caz USD$40 is just too much for me rn, I'll wait until it's discounted.

I know they say kind Miquella and thats the implication on who they follow but i interpited that sean as them followers of sant trina. Witch most ppl in the lands between wouldn't know is Miquella. Because we know from the recipes that ppl have tried to follow st. Trina to the "land of sleep" what of its the world of shadows. We know thats were they disappeared to. The npc looking like both would characters because they idolized st. Trina makes sence to me. If the worshiped them. Downing yourself in there flowers and visage. I like the idea she could be trina herself tho.

Right when i saw the picture of that new character, it really looked like someone how is very close to miquella, i mean just look at their outfit it looks like something directly out of the haligtree, but when you mentioned it it ringed immediately, makes a lot of sense for this character to be st trina since it basically checks all the boxes, and now i would really go sad if this isnt st trina 😂

I would recommend studying Carl Jung's take on anima and animus as well as his take on the shadow. Maybe even 46+2. Soo many similarities.

The symbol on the hilt of the new character’s sword reminds me of the top part of the Elden Ring in Farum Azula But yeah it could be St Trina or the girl in statues all over Liurnia but with armor

I reckon the person in front of Miquella's cocoon could be the NPC between the masked person sitting down and the portly armoured dude; second from the right as they are all in shot. The cape is darker like the one in Moghs palace and, now maybe i'm seeing things, but it looks like there's a lighter trim near the hem of the cape as well. Could be entirely wrong though!

I think its an aspect of Miquella similar to milicent and her sisters. They're basically spores of malenia, who were drawn to her. We already saw Miquella's body And you can also find his discarded fate in the St. Trina hideaway. I like to think this is miquella's "grace" given form

I have a theory where i think that he/she is the same Miquella's follower from the trailer, but i think that the follower itself will be Miquella under a false identity like Patches/Lapp thing from ds3 ringed city, thats why we dont see miquella's face in any trailer

Knowing all the Berserk references in Elden Ring, I would've be surprised if this will be like Griffith and the Band of the Hawks... and we know how that ended 😈

My main concern is their similarity to Griffith, teasing us with an ally with angelic beauty and very sympathetic goals only to turn them into the worst, most evil person we could encounter who would sacrifice the current world to be the one who brings salvation to the next

I think it definitely could be St. Trina. It’s the physical form Miquella’s soul takes within the shadow realm. Much like how I suspect the masked uterus looking creature they teased, to be the counterpart of Marika. Marika’s soul within the shadow realm. I think that is Marika. And this is St. Trina. Guess we’ll see.

St. Trina might have been a powerful individual, from... well, "The Land" that ended up in the erdtrees crucible were before the shattering when the erdtree could just spit out gods when they dropped, just like the player, but fully runed up, and eventually came up with Miqulla, but through more acute slow tree grafting. Raises the question of why Miqulla was being remaid through a haligtree after dying from someone.... But also all the golden gods did whatever the erdtree wanted, collecting, getting pieces of itself back from Renalla, following its golden order: or code if the coded sword, pata, and the golden order fundamentalism that came after the shattering are to be believed. Ah fuck, that crevice in the story trailer could be all the flayed gods of the black flame godskins. I'm rambling, but that crouched figure does appear to be firmly grasping a flowing blade="Prosthesis-Wearer Heirloom" description. Still don't think the rot Miqulla describes Melania as having was scarlet rot but rather a symptom of not loving Griffith, sorry Miqulla, enough cause why couldn't they just keep casting Law of Regression over and over. Personally, I think the followers of Miquella are the seven soulless demigods found in the seven wandering mausoleums following Miquella for salvation or revenge or something. When they were killed during the Night of the Black Knives their souls were sent to the Land of Shadow and searching for a way out and that was offered by Miquella to have them join him in his mission in return for their salvation. Miquella can promise them anything since he is a master manipulator. 😎🍻😎 😎🍻😎

For me, the character looks more like a Miquella high priest or something like that. After all, it is expected of a devoted follower to inspire their own appearance in their figure of worship.
