Yay a new stream! It was a pleasure to watch, and I'm looking forward to your next one! P.S. If you play Four Swords, the Anniversary edition is the one with single player mode. It also has the Realm of Memories, which is very fun. I recommend playing it with others once you get to the harder levels though.
When Hyrule was created, it created heat and cold, life and death, and of course, light and dark. The Zelda series is a prequel to Dark Souls confirmed.
Ima leave this here for the RU-vidr, yo boss you can upload the interview to your channel on private and turn on RU-vid's Ai voice over translate which will translate everything he's saying with pretty high accuracy onto the screen with subs and you can just re-record it after, thought I'd leave the tip
You don’t even need to increase your health and stamina bare with shrines since there are foods that increase your health and stamina beyond their current level. Just make a bunch of those and it’s the same since you’d be eating to heal/regen stamina anyway.
Pieces of heart and stamina should be in the world waiting to be found and require thinking to a quire. Not shrine rewards. Replace shrines with open world puzzles.
Just because there’s time travel doesn’t mean there is a new timeline. That happened exactly once in the franchise and in a way that makes no sense. And in this case, a time portal was used, which is a method known to specifically prevent splitting timelines. I think what happened is simple: the day is saved just like every other Zelda game. Even in the start of the Downfall timeline, Link did enough the sages were able to completely seal Ganon. Like, I’m sure the Imprisoning War was just a reference to the war against Ganondorf’s rule, as it’s unbelievable no one fought back until Link died, and the sages were right there when he faced Ganon.
“Responsibility as a father first and a king second” sounds psychopathic. Everyone’s lives are not worth Zelda’s feelings. Especially since the king was right about her lack of dedication. Even more so that given how her powers activate, it proves she didn’t actually care about her people until it was far too late.
Yeah, everyone disliked the king in BotW for doing his job and taking the lives of his people seriously. As if that were some how a bad thing. Like toddlers. All I ever saw was someone who was rightfully chastising his daughter for not fully dedicating herself to saving everyone from the looming apocalypse and who walked his talk. He was right. People hate him because they’re raised to be children forever. They have no actual reason beyond a childish “feel bad = is bad” mentality.

Nintendo said Age of Calamity is canon, so…doesn’t that mean that it comes after Tears of the Kingdom and undoes BotW and TotK? The only time an alternate timeline formed was when Zelda sent the Hero of Time to the past, even though that makes no sense considering it was the same method that he used, and fanon doesn’t change that fact. Logically, this consistency in the many games means there was no split in Age of Calamity and therefore the day is saved. Especially since he used a time portal. So, it did not create a new timeline (unless Nintendo yet again ignores its own writing like in OoT).
Breath of the Wild’s success comes from people wanting to explore Hyrule. Tears of the Kingdom’s success comes from hoping it fixed BotW’s problems. Neither delivered. Both are mostly running simulators and poop collectors.
Termina is short for Terminal, which means END, which he accidentally travelled to when looking for Navi.... However, you could also view Termina as one of the four worlds, so maybe he died there... OoT/MM Link also stated that he was angry at not being remembered as a hero, so maybe he died in a major battle or (my favourite theory) in a battle while travelling in the forest with Epona while looking for Navi. Perhaps they both got killed but didn't realise they were dead, so they continued travelling as they thought was "normal". This could explain how his body was never found and/or buried, it would also explain his confusion and lack of knowledge about Termina, and the residents' lack of memory of Hyrule.
Most of this problem with the lore of LoZ is due to the fact that MIYAMOTO DOESN’T CARE ABOUT STORY! That doesn’t sound like a big deal, but he is INCREDIBLY influential to Nintendo’s development process. And a lot of this just comes down to cultural differences. Lore and story are not, and probably will NEVER BE important to Nintendo.
Food for thought. What brought Marikas consorts to her? Radagon had a family. Hoarah Loux was a ferocious warrior chieftain with near unquenchable bloodlust. Both already lords in there own rights. Why turn there backs on who they were for Marika?
If BOTW and TOTK are indeed on a fourth timeline, then what if the Arbiter’s Grounds wasn’t a prison for the Kingdom of Hyrule, but instead, a prison for the Gerudo, way back when Ganondorf ruled. That might be a good reason why the Gerudo; after Ganondorf was sealed, destroyed the Arbiters Grounds; like Bandit said, to remove that stain upon their legacy.
I remember literally having to put down the controller and take a minute when I arrived at his grace and saw him aflame in black, assassin bodies strewn about, his anvil abandoned.
I think she is raising Ganons secret child in her realm after all and she lied about ganon turning her into an imp... and she refused Zant her only suiter and obviously someone has to remove the master sword from ganon someday... people under estimate how sly she is but ganon was treated like a god in her kingdom...as queen with a despot kingdom she will make hard choices
Really disagree with this HMK dude, he was kinda rude, waving the critique of the others about TOTK aside without having any kind of counter argument to support his opinions, also trying to safe face by saying everyone's opinions are valid while obviously giving of the vibe that only his thoughts matter. His part of the discussion was just continuing dismissing other critiques and badly trying to defend / explain his perspective without actually adding to the conversation and the overall focus of the debate himself, his thoughts felt short sided and shallow. I like TOTK the building mechanics and abilities focusing on it are really fun and the world is chill to go through. I played it a ton day in day out, the gameplay loop worked for me for awhile but like many others I dislike the story / storytelling, it's half baked and didn't leave an impact at all, which is a huge shame given how intriguing Zelda can be with it's themes. Also many oddities like no guardians, hearing the explanation about it is just so damn lame, and diminishes the overall presentation and feeling of the world. After awhile I got burned out and stopped / became disappointed with the lack of new locations and things to do when I covered most of the map on all elevations.
We had 2 perfect opportunities to put her and the twilight realm in botw and totk with the mirror on the beach. It would have been so cool to go see midna with the way the switch works. Purah would have a run for her money. <3
Wanna know something stupid: ENERGY shield metroids eat energy and can even take it from electronics with proof from dread so the Metroid prime ate through the shield to get to the phazon
Can you try playing Wuthering Waves? It just released. It's similar to Genshin but released by a different company. I think it's very fun and i would love for you to try it and give your honest opinions since it's very new. :D
I was just happy Ganon got Scars voice actor, it's how I already imagined him talking so that went well. I think the best antagonist Has to be Ganon. Its the only time they really delve into any lore of the game, and it feels special. I wish they put half the effort of lore of botw and totk into Majoras Mask though, I wouldn't have so many questions miamoto won't answer. (praying he speaks on it before he dies). I think Ganon Twilight Princess was a straight badass, Close second has to be Majora: like micro division of first and second, then Vaati cause Minish cap was so underrated its not even funny.
Pretty sure in the new game Tears of the Kingdom, one of the Goddess statues refer to the statue in the forgotten temple (the one that got toppled over) as a separate being so this theory is probably false.
Also, the previous Kingdom of Hyrule, if it existed, being forgotten and leaving no evidence makes no sense. Hyrule never fell. It was never destroyed. It waxed and wanes but as existed consistently for so long that the Zora evolved from freaking Jellyfish. Just imagine how much evidence such a kingdom would leave even if it was blasted. And the history, records, knowledge. And why wouldn’t people rebuild anyway? It isn’t like what they know would poof out of their minds to at least get a massive leg up. And the ruins and other remains to use as a basis and scavenging to to rebuild. Unless the Zonai came in the age of Hylia before Skyward Sword.
The answer to all of these questions is.. "because.." Because they wanted to... Because it would be fun... Because they had ideas and didn't get to put them in past games.. Because the game play of "bla-blah-blah" would be engaging. Nintendo typically has less interest in lore than many Nintendo fans. If it suits a vision, they go for it. Cannon be dammed. Nintendo is a gaming company first and foremost. Storytelling is a biproduct
this has made me questioned if they hate male then how do they have babies? you need a have a man in your life to require that ability to have kids, this has puzzled me for years as a zelda fan
