I don’t feel that elf is becoming just another brand with their pricing because a lot of their products that were crazy cheap when they first came out are still that same price. Like all their eyebrow products are about the cheapest you’ll find. I find their newer products that are a bit more expensive do have great ingredients like you said, so the price bump is justified I think. They became my absolute favorite brand in 2020, not just because I love their products, but their customer service is also so amazing!💜
Also they are cruelty free and a lot of their stuff is vegan friendly! Other brands straight up refuse. And, for the most part, I appreciate how simple and efficient and effortless their packaging is 🤷🏻♀️

I think we are seeing an increase in the costs of makeup that reflect the increase of all the costs of creating them. Raw ingredients have increased, production costs have increased, shipping and distribution costs have increased, etc. I think overall drugstore priced makeup will be higher going forward
I read in either a business article or a cosmetic industry journal that elf's investors were not happy with their (lack of) profits. So, the results are lots of new products, something much more competitive in the industry and a higher price point. As long as their quality stays good and even improves, I don't mind too much in paying a bit more. I did find the price of their CC cream to be shocking though. =0
I run a business myself, and if we still operated at the prices we were at when I started, we'd be paying our customers to use our product. All of my expenses have gone up, so I have to raise our prices. The important thing to look at is the ratio of production/operation costs to profit. Every time our equipment costs, electricity, wages, etc goes up, so do our product prices to cover those increased expenses.
I think the names of the blushes are on the stickers on the sides they’re almost transparent look towards the end of the sticker I saw Zabrena’s review she had said that :)

@@Tuffaluffskee Korean bb creams are the OG so that's what I go for when I want bb creams. The west only started making it after they did. Honestly true with many products, cream blushes, cc creams etc
@@elithluxe7568 Make up innovations happen in Korea and then go over to the west. I think west does a little better in making buttery and pigmented eyeshadows though. Also bronzers since Koreans don't use them.
The ELF blush n highlight duo in Watermelon! That highlight is unassuming in the lan but i love it more than my high end highlighters on the face! So bright n pearlescent!

As I get older I find myself reading way more and watching way less RU-vid, but once a week I always still try to catch up on all of your videos. You are one of three channels I still watch. This has been the only foundation release during quarantine that I've actually wanted to try, BUT not at that price. Family on a right budget because we're a small business family. So I'll keep sticking to my holy grail $5 Believe foundation.
If anyone's wondering about the color names, Zabrena did a color swatch video on these! She had the same trouble with the names, but eventually realized the name is hidden on the side of the containers.
I've been trying the ELF lash serum fairly consistently for about a month and a half now and I have noticed a big difference! The cool thing is you can use it on your eyebrows as well and I have actually noticed a difference there as well! Def recommend
So I watched this video because i love ELF products and brushes. I was in a spring clean out mood of everything...clothes, make up, reorganizing etc... i went to walmart and bought the cc cream, mascara, lip plumping glass, blush and new brushes. I absolutely love the cc cream. Amazing. I have a hard time with foundations. I have always had combo skin and with menopause smacking me in the face, i have red patches. This cream evened everything out without being tacky or sitting heavy on my skin. I did not get overly oily in the tzone by ed day. Everything stayed in place beautifully..super impressed. And the lip gloss in the mint score!!!!!! Perfect shade for my auburn/starting to grey hair 😊 thanks so much for your great review.
NYX is insane though! A lot of their foundations/primers aren’t even 1oz! They’re one of the most expensive at the drugstore when you consider price vs the amount of product you get

Omg! Your the first RU-vidr I have seen use that eco tools brush, the one you used with your bronzer. I love love LOVE that brush so much, for everything! Also, if your into undereye care, ELF has this undereye roller ball, super affordable (like 4 bucks). Its so good! I keep it in my fridge and use it every AM to debuff and wake up. The metal roller ball feels so good and the serum has good skincare ingredients in it!!
The jelly highlights from elf are so stunning if you like the whole wet dewy skin look. They aren’t glittery it over the top. Just make sure you use your fingers because it does weird things otherwise.
about the expiration dates being stamped into the products: i totally agree😭 idk about other international brands but ik korean brands stamp exact dates onto basically every product and its so helpful
Every single makeup RU-vidr says the same thing about e.l.f. mascaras - e.l.f. needs to work on that! I bought the e.l.f. Camo CC Cream but I haven't tried it yet, so I'm glad to see your review on it.
My favourite highlighter of all time is elf's baked highlighter in moonpearl, soooo pretty and not glittery at all 😍 works best when you first use setting spray on ur skin and while it's still damp put the highlighter on, perfection 👏🏻

Love the baked highlight in pearl. I know a lot of people don’t like it, you just have to scrape a bit of the top layer off. But it’s really pretty and you can build it it keeping more natural

I saw a couple of videos from other you tubers and I was shocked . I have pigmentation and I am 43 and I bought it and I was shocked . It is medium to full and covers everything 😜I am so happy I found this for when I don’t want full make up etc
I just tried the elf camo cc cream! I’m loving it so far! I have issues with foundation lifting off my forehead and nose. This hasn’t at all and looks so natural!! And I had that problem with the it cosmetics cc cream and hated it. So excited this worked for me! Can’t wait until your follow review. ❤️

I got one of the ride or die balm because of you and I love it. The only thing is you can’t leave it in the car if you live in a cold climate. It becomes rock hard and impossible to squeeze out until you warm it up 😅
You should try the mochi sponge from shop miss a. Elf writes the shade name on the side of the blush but you can barely see it. Just look around the side of the package in the light and you should see it.

I use the elf putty blush and honestly the best way to go is to tap it in with your fingers or use a blender ! Using a brush definitely disrupts the foundation underneath
I’m so excited to watch u again I took few months off and went out and live it up and now I’m preg with our second baby and need prayers please to see our baby at my 6 week 6 day mark this Thursday as we just seen the yolk sac at 5 week 6 days so he is have me come back week after snd see again so I’m nervous and hard to leave the house having a hard time during this pregnancy
The trick w the blush is to pat or stipple in do not rub or sweep. I get better results when I dab my brush in the pot as well not a sweep into the pot. If any of this makes sense.

Okay this is my favorite look I’ve honestly ever seen...so natural and glowy but just warm enough on the eyes. and I feel totally fine going to the store and buying all of these products without breaking the bank 😂
