The new front enterance for Six Flags Over Georgia is FINALLY open and Georgia Surfer construction has progressed a lot since we were last at the park!

Very odd entrance system.. but it makes sense basically 2 entrances because of how the parking lots are situated

Why does SIX FLAGS announce a ride for a new season without having the ride ready to open for the season? They used to do construction work in the off season so the public could be excited and the crowds were bigger! When did this become a thing?

This was a last minute addition so there were no preparations that they were able to make before announcing it (unless they wanted to announce in January after coaster announcement season) That’s why the name was announced 5 months after the coaster. Hopefully this will end next year now that it’s been a few years since Selem changed his mind about new rides and they’ve had a proper amount of time to plan out new rides!
