That new electric outfit looks great! I know you will enjoy deep dropping so much more. Looking forward to your next trip and all the yellow eye snapper, golden tilefish, snowy grouper etc that will come over your gunnel. Best to you!
Hey skipper thanks for the info! Yeah that rig will definitely save alot of wear and tear on the body and that's the key as we age. The sea is already hard on the body anything to ease the pain is money 💰 well spent. Keep up the good work 👏 skip!!!
I agree with you a 100% captain and all the money I spend on Tyler. And thank you for watching and I'll keep you updated how well the new rod doesn't captain🎣😉⚓️
Yes I agree with you captain. This is gonna make it easier for me to land those big fish from the deep waters. Thanks for watching captain and also The sharks will run for their money l o l
It’s an amazing fishing rod. I’ve seen other people with electric rods and reels and been interested in where to buy them, so thanks for the links I hope to buy one soon. Can’t wait to see it in action.
Awesome captain thank you and I'll keep you updated on how it. Worked and how long my batteries will Last by using the electric real, Thanks for watching
Don’t skimp on the braid and the connections. That much depth puts a lot of stress on the line. Lots of heavy braid a long top shot of fluorocarbon wind on leader and you’re good. Take it to a shop and have it done professionally. Great little setup!
@@fishhunt9874 I'll answer that for you, top " fluorocarbon leader" is needed because braid has no stretch at those depths fluorocarbon acts as a shock absorber.
@@leversforever9748 Monofilament stretches more than fluorocarbon and it is dark down there so I do not believe the less visible advantages of fluorocarbon leader makes a difference. Unless I am missing something.
Thanks captain I've been waiting for this equipment for a long time. It's just too expensive but finally I pulled the trigger so that way I can do better fishing and bring you guys along in the trip. Thanks for watching captain
Lol captain that sounds really good. I've been waiting for something like this in a long time. I'll keep you updated. How well does captain thank you for watching
Looks like your ready for serious offshore action. Fire up the crooked pilot house and get out there. Oh wait weather don’t look to good blowing hard. You might have to practice in yard. Enjoy your new toy. As always stay safe. And prop clear Capt
Hello paul and yes I will play in the backyard for now because like you said the weather it is really rough and thanks for watching prop clear captain😉🎣⚓️
Congratulations! Awesome rig set up! Well worth the investment when you factor in the great moments you will have. Years and years of fun and amazing fresh fish for you, your family, and friends!
@@OutOnTheReefYour welcome! Tell me of another boating youtuber that makes fresh crispy tostones on the boat! And fresh ground coffee, desert with a beer! Fuera de seria!
Hi Captain, congrats on the new fishing equipment! I look forward to seeing it in action... There's nothing better than depriving the sharks from eating your fish... let them catch their own! ☺
lol cap and yes those shark need to do their own fishing 😁👍and i have been waiting for this for a long time cap, very exited , i will keep you updated on future videos cap 👍⚓
El Cap-i-tan is making moofs! If you lose some of that forearm power, just open up a can of spinach like ole Popeye and keep it moving. 💪😷 I'm interested to see how many fish go in the box because we all know you can find the fish brother. I'm excited for you. This is a game changer fo sho! God bless. 🐟🐟🐟
Hello captain and yes it's very expensive and hopefully. It works great and I will keep you updated on my future trips. How? Well it works thanks and have an awesome day captain
Tremendo jugete! Pero acuerdate q el pescado q suvas a esas profundidades es mejor q sino te lo vas a comer usalo de carnada. At that speed and depth the fish can compensate pressure. Hope you catch a big tuna and can’t wait to see your next trip.
Thank you for the pointer's captain and yes the deeper and faster you pull the more the fish We'll die on the way up. Then soon I will try it and I'll let you know how it work Saludos capitan
Cualquier cosa me escribes o me llamas. Gracias por tus videos.
@@OutOnTheReef Have you every caught or eaten Tile Fish? It is one of the best tasting fish of all. As you may know, to catch Tile Fish you have to deep drop and often with wire. Tight lines and good fishing, Skipper.
@johngranato2673 I heard about it but I have never caught one but now I have the opportunity to get tile fish And definitely I will try it to see how good it is. But everybody says the same thing they're very delicious thank you for the pointers captain
I just picked one of these reels up today, and have another on order! I noticed that the website talks about a “jigging feature” like the Tanacom 1000 had, but the manual doesn’t mention it, and I don’t see the feature in the menu. Have you seen anything about it? Not a big deal, but the fact that it’s mentioned is throwing me off.
L o l captain yes most definitely because it's thirty percent faster it's gonna bring their eyes bulging out But it will bring a smile to my face thanks for watching captain
You forgot to add the price of the line in that could be a couple hundred dollars I don't know where you're going to use something like that may be off of Miami I think it's a couple thousand feet over there maybe you could even catch a sword fish with that
in Japan cap. and if you want to support my channel hit my link to buy it in amazon and a commission will be given to my channel cap and it will really help my channel , thanks cap.
Nice addition for the fishing days, Captain. Will you move the rod base farther forward to allow it to pivot to bring your catch into the boat? Does the new motor show RPM or percent of motion of the spool? Will def save that arm from muscle spasms. The DC motor in the spool makes perfect sense, less parts/more action.
yes it is cap is a better design and yes they say is about 20% faster because of the spool is bigger that makes it faster and the motor is the same as the Tanacom 1000, i will keep you updated on how it works soon cap, thanks for watching cap.
Saludos capitan el Domingo se ve un poco malo pero si yo tubiera que ir yo fuera, pero el problema es cuando regresar porque todos los dias despues estan muy malos
If you up grade your rod holders to 90d swivel you also will not have to take out of the rod holder. Make sure you also when you spool the line you put it on tight as per the reel instructions
Niiice Capt Crooked also more money than 1000. 1000 is good probably 750ft the 1200 good for 1500 ft plus congrats Capt C I love my 1000 I run it to about 750 anything over you should hand crank at half way point JT HOOKED N ROLLING OFFSHORE 🇺🇸🇺🇸🐟🐠🛥🎣
