very helpful review. Gave me the knowledge to be able to shop for a Kubota tractor and know how to drive it.

I just bought a BX 2380 with loader and tiller. I have 10 acres and for 58 yr old woman, this was a good size for me to clean horse stalls, mow pastures and move manure onto my garden. So far I am very pleased. Easy to use.

Now this sized tractor would be perfect for me starting out on alot of the smaller jobs I have, especially reconditioning yards

I called the BX tractors sniper rifles, because you don’t always need a B-52 bomber to win battles. It’s the most user-friendly piece of equipment I have ever used I have put over 600 hours on mine in 2 1/2 years just using it around my property. You wind up using them a lot more than you think doing little jobs that your back just don’t want to handle.

I have a bx2350, while I hate the plastic body panels it's been great. Bought it used for 8k, came with 54" mower and rear snowblower. I added a tiller, bagger system and loader

This is a great video, though I would have shown the lever actions during implementation removal, as well as a backhoe and Traditional mower deck removal. Thanks

What the hell? New tractor buyer here. He said something about quick hitch on the back of the tractor, then proceeded to say he doesn’t have time go into it… but it saves lives? What the hell? Save my life and tell me!!! 😂

We do have a video that goes further into depth on the Quick Hitch! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8t_eSpVmfFs.html

Quick hitch’s are great time saver. I’ve had one for 3 years. Love it! If you buy one get the one that is a true class 1 so you don’t have to buy bushings ( $50 a set).

Why does it go from neutral to rabbit easily but I can't figure out how to get it down to turtle? Is there a specific pedal I need to press when switching from neutral to low?

With engine running, lower the rpm's down as far as it will go. Should be easy to shift from high to low or low to high.

I traded a BX 2350 for a BX 2680 WORST Mistake I Ever Made The 80 series is a MUCH Cheaper built tractor than the 50 Series was > Even though I went from 23 HP to 26 HP 80 Series stability is terrible compared to the 50 series > it is a taller machine than the 50 series and pretty sure, a bit more narrow > Slopes I used to have absolutely no problem with for 10 YEARS - now, the tractor wants to roll (tires come off ground) > I even had my dealership liquid fill my tires for better stability - - still not even close to the 50 series > the operator's compartment is much more compact than the 50 series Power is less even with a larger engine - transmission is not even close to what I had in my 50 series > Transmission pulls down going on the same slopes I have been mowing for 10 YEARS and never had issues with in the 50 series Hydraulics suck - Mine has been back to the dealer 4 times in a year - > no feathering control on the bucket - the hyd valve seems to be either full closed or full open > the bucket slams to the ground as soon as the valve is cracked just a tiny bit Make Certain, you have your dealer check the toe in and alignment ! > I burned through both front tires in 90 hours of use (Never been used on hard surface / grass driving only) > Outer edges were completely worn down Unfortunately - Nobody at Kubota can redesign the throttle control on these tractors >The handle is either so tight to move, you have to strain / use both hands - or it is so loose it keeps coming back to idle on it's own 4 wheel drive or not - - with an 80 series, don't even think about getting close to a small drainage rut (3") > you will either come close to rolling it or if the front tire drops into the rut - even the 4 wheel and the diff lock won't help you I would almost be willing to trade back for my 50 series (even trade) (( HATE THIS 2680 )) - - it is more like a "beefed up" little rider you could buy at a big box store Kubota quality has gone to shit They took a REAL BX compact tractor, and turned it into an entry level TOY If you have never owned an older Kubota - - - You may be happy with the 80 series since you have nothing to compare it to previously It is still an OK machine If you have a perfectly manicured lawn, with no slopes, and you plan on using the bucket simply to move mulch or snow - - You will probably be happy with a newer BX (still better than any green / yellow machine in comparison) ( I would recommend searching for an older series which will give you much better performance )

I never had a problem with my 2680. 2.5 years, 620 hours. Wheel spacers are the best thing I did. 2” on the rear and 1.5 on the front. Made a Big Difference!!

@@tiredofit9112 Why the difference in spacers from front to back ???
@tiredofit9112
@tiredofit9112 11 месяцев назад
@@CraneGuru if you have a mowing deck. You have to readjust the wheel stops so the tires don’t grab the deck. I have the 60” deck, if use the smaller deck you have use 1.5” on the rear because of the anti-scalp wheels are closer to the rear tires. I bought mine from Bro-Tek. Easy installation. Great people! Don’t buy cheap ones. You don’t want a wheel to come off on a hill side. What’s your life worth!

@@tiredofit9112 Thanks much I do have the 60" belly deck Are ya saying if I use a 2" rear wheel spacer on rear, I have to modify the deck scalp wheels ?? Or if I use 2" in front I would have to modify ??? Appreciate your reply my friend
@tiredofit9112
@tiredofit9112 11 месяцев назад
@@CraneGuru 2” will work fine on the rear. I wouldn’t go more than 1.5” on the front. You do lose turning radius with them on the front but, to me it’s worth the trade off. This is what Bro-Tek recommended to go with. I’m telling you, you would not believe the difference with the wheel spacers. I run wheel weights on the rear. If I’m using the front loader, I have counterweight on the back. Common sense is one of your best friends when using a tractor with a front end loader. Keep it low when turning. There is a lot of great videos out there about using a Bx Tractor. I learned a lot watching them. I have never had a hydrostatic tractor with a front end loader and I wanted to educate myself, so I watched a lot of them.😁
