New Eternia BEAST MAN Masterverse Action Figure Review | Masters of the Universe 

This design alongside the CGI Beastman are my favorite versions of the character. They look so feral and primal. If this is anything to go by, i would love to see a figure of a New Eternia Merman based on the Lords of Power concepts.

I got this Beast Man at my local target a few weeks ago now. I love him. He’s so much bigger and intimidating that even the Masters Classics one. I bought this figure specifically because of the faux fur mantle. Dan mentions that it is non removable and glued to the spiked, skull harness but that’s not true. It is merely pinned to the harness with the spikes acting as anchors. Due to the gummy nature of the plastic of the grey harness, I was simply able to pop out the spikes, slip the fur mantle off them, and slip the spikes back into place. I displayed mine with the faux fur mantle under the more classic harness included with the figure. It looks like an extension of that armor piece. I couldn’t be happier.

Ursis Prime was the first iteration of Beastman created by Mark Taylor back in the 80s. This version was just a huge bear, that wasn't used due to its allegedly resemblance to Chewbacca. Ursis' chest armor consisted of huge spikes and a human skull at the center. So, why do I bring this into our attention? If we take a careful look at the Beastman New Eternia figure, we would notice that he wears the same chest armor as Ursis, a fur with Ursis colors, and a helmet that is the very head of a bear. Guys, Beastman New Eternia is a combination of both the original and the known versions of Mark Taylor's Beastman. I'm fascinated by the background MOTU story behind this iteration: Beastman killed Ursis Prime after a long duel that almost took his life. As a result, Beastman decided to wear Ursis corpse as a symbol of his skills in combat and as a reminder of his power. This is really cool!!!

They released new Beastman figures where the black wash has been fixed and the body now matches the rest of the figure. I was able to make an exchange for it at my Target yesterday.

So I thought this was pretty interesting, I found 2 Beast Man figures at a Target that seem to be an update or a running change to the figure. I did a video on my channel about it, the 2 figures I found have white upper teeth instead of the accidentally painted over blue teeth like most of the figures have and they have a lighter, more orange torso/body instead of the darker, over-washed bodies. I've been to three other Targets that have all had several Beast Man figures but none of those figures were the updated/corrected figures. Isn't that strange? The figures are obviously different, it can't be an accident or coincidence

A really great figure! When the Masterverse line started I was not really convinced of this new revelation concept. But the more figures I bought, the more I started to like them. I didn‘t think that they could beat the Classics, but some (e. g. Beastman, Fisto and Barbarian Skeletor) definitely do. And what I like best is the fact that they are available and affordable! Y’know what, if New Eternia gets its own show, Beast-Man could potentially be a Adaptational Nice Guy if He-Man helps him figure out where his people went

It says on the back of the box he killed the demon bear. So that’s how he got the pelt. Also hoping they do Trap Jaw, Tri-Klops, & Hordak in a New Eternia style

I love the alternate looks on these New Eternia figures. I never would have picked up that Skeletor until I saw the alternate "classic" head sculpt. And it's one of the most legit Skeletor figures now.

This is definitely the best figure that Mattel has released so far. I hope the quality continues like this.

I’d love the next 2 in this style to be Teela and Mer-Man. A blonde Teela and a more fishy Mer-Man? Yes please! Plus, I love how hulking he is. I always pictured Beast Man to be a larger character with some intimidation, not the dopey goof unfortunately portrayed in the Filmation series,

Just bought mine for 17 euros. I am really happy! With barbarian skeletor and 40th he man 2022 is a great year for Masters action figures!

This figure looks so good... I saw plenty of them at my local Target! :D

This is one I'm really eager to get hold of. Although I had mixed feelings on many 200x designs, I love how this version is big and hulking and echoes that 200x figure so much (as does the extra leg amour). One thing I don't think has been noticed by (m)any is how the design on the waist cloth sorta has an embellished 'compass' design from the traditional torso armour. Also, as a boy I'd often draw Beast Man carrying a club so I like that he comes with one here. This version incorporates so many elements from various Beast Man designs - I'm a huge "early sketches" fan and love that so much of that is referenced in this figures. The black body wash is a shame, but my biggest niggle is the head, which looks a little puffy and 'goofy', although I can live with it. This figure has so many optional combinations for display, and I love how these NE ones can be 'stripped down' to serve as basic versions of the character. Really hope they do similar justice for Trap Jaw as I feel the Revelations version is a real let down.

Since this guy comes in the same size box as Skelegod I'd call this an "over-sized" figure more than "deluxe" even though he does come with more stuff than some of the deluxe ones.

My favorite of skeletors minions. Sadly- i sold mine off. I dont like how the shoulders sit outside the torso. Just looks very awkward, and fragile. Hopefully its done better on future releases. Very disappointed, as i was super excited when the figure was announced. I really hope mondo does it better in their upcoming line.

I don’t know why I thought this was Revelation s2/Revolution BM? I still haven’t seen Revelation BM. Only saw one M@A and Teela around here, from that wave. I am curious how that fur armor fits on Ursa Major, now?

Looks like the arms aren't attached to the body that great. This really bothers me. Just look how much better the Revelations Beast Man looks with his arms/shoulders more close to the body (no gap).

If you want to get creative, you can take some rubbing alcohol to the wash and most of it will come off. I used a 91% alcohol and it took me about an hour and many qtips to take it off. He's actually a really bright orange underneath!

I like the Classics version better. I hate that Super 7 loss the license. I would love to have an opportunity to get an Ultimate's version.

pixel dan has never given his opinion on revelations. i think hes scared to say he doesnt like it because mattel wont be happy and wont send him free toys. and hes scared to say he likes because he might lose fans so he chose not to give any opinion on it. i think he doesnt like it because he probably wants a true to 80s heman type cartoon. now when revolution comes out, he will go radio silent as well if someone sees pixel dan at a con, record him with your phone and ask him his opinion on revelations. lets see him squirm and wesil his way out of giving out an opinion
