Thank you for the great videos. I live a long way away and I can't get back home to Liverpool as much as I would like, so the drone footage of the stadium build has been brilliant. How else would anyone have any idea what was happening. I'm hoping to see a great big Everton sign and a bit more blue around the place. This football club and stadium will be the reason that the city will be rejuvenated and I can't wait to see the progress. My nephews and family members are season ticket holders. So much potential for further development around the stadium too e.g hotels, restaurants, apartments and a nice view across the Mersey. The whole area can be regenerated off the back of this. It should generate a lot of extra revenue for the club.

The one eyesore, which is a necessity, is the media building! It blocks the view and looks out of place. It needs a roof to hide the stuff inside. The sewage works, too, and the media should have been housed there!

Thanks for spotlighting the spotlights; I had asked on another droner's video (mea culpa) what the white posts were for and a number of people had correctly identified their purpose. Is this what the long white rail beneath the upper south stand glazing will be used for?

Incredible footage !

Nick. although you were upstaged, I am afraid, by another droners stunning gold and blue reflections and refractions on the barrel-cladding and other points of the west perspective taken later on, for those who want more 'blue' some should be happier with how at 1:15 mins onwards the blue sky reflections on the East Stand barrel-cladding is great to see too. You can actually pick out buildings reflections too, on a big screen. PoI's: 1) @ 1:41 mins, there is a large post wrapped up in plastic laying flat on the plaza next to the Dog Compound. It may be relocated by your midweek video but I do wonder where it's meant to be going. 2) @ 2:14 mins, we can see that only the last of the 13 Columnar Elms awaits it's final base shroud flagstones installed. 3) @ 2:14 mins, we can see that they have laid the lower level of tarmac that lies 'outside' the overhang black support posts to the machine located just over halfway along the North Stand (seen later at 9:02 mins). 3) @ 2:39 mins, we can see they have flattened and compacted an area of sand next to the blue-glazed, brick-faced, two-tiered bench (at least three shades of blue have been used to continue the feeling of lapping water), which implies that they intend to get the water-effect flags laid right up to the bench this next week. 4) @ 8:30 mins, we can see the extraordinary fence posts at the NW end of the perimeter Wall. I remarked in earlier videos that the foundations seemed to be much more robust and that we should expect to see an interesting development of the Wind-Baffles and covers in that area. I am glad my comment was vindicated but IF they carry out any of the original plans there, we should still expect to see another length of steel structures similar to that at the south end of the mezzanine, spanning off the side of the north end of the mezzanine. BUT, they may well have changed the plans for those too. We shall have to watch for developments. 5) @ 9:31 mins. we can see the lights out on stalks but I am going to hypothesise an alternative, exciting prospect for their use. Most people, with good reason, think that the lights are merely continuing the line of the mood lighting for the barrel-cladding that has been in place on the E/W stands mansard rooves. From early on in the project, I wondered how on earth they would be able to apply the branding on the barrel-roof and the South Window without placing some pretty ugly, cumbersome structures. However, these days with LEDs and Lasers, lighting can be made to be pretty sophisticated and the result of these developments is amazing "Lumieres" shows. I'm going out on a limb here, ready to be shot down in flames, but I think the horizontal white bars and struts along the bottom edge of the South Stand Window and these horizontal posts out from under the barrel-cladding are for "Lumieres" branding of the stadium that will be displaying all manner of blue and EFC branding as well as the Naming Rights Sponsors. This WILL explain why such large areas of the Windows and Barrel-Cladding are shown to have 'Branding' Illuminated Signage allocated to them. 6) @11:10 mins, we can see an interesting pattern of the Polycarbonate Roof rails on the E Stand Roof. 7) @ 12:20 mins and afterwards, we can see that the Accessibility Platforms in the following locations seem to have been re-purposed for normal seating in the following areas: 1) the area just to the south of the Home Dugout, 2) the end glass-barriered sections of the patio in front of the Executive Boxes, 3) the main central platform on the Upper Tier of the West Stand, 4) the central Lower Tier platform of the East Stand and 5) the areas of the Lower Tier of the South Stand that were going to be allocated for TV plinths. I have added these seats up and they don't really amount to many EXTRA seats when you take away the Disabled and Companion Seats that were planned there, so I'm not sure how this will ultimately affect the overall capacity.

LOL I was in the middle of typing a comment to say about the uplighter posts added to the base of the barrel cladding when you then went and zoomed in on them. There goes my chance to get an observation mention on your mid week vid :) Looks like similar bracketry added to the bottom of the south stand glass section Also lots of materials outside the front of the pump house, looked like sheets of plasterboard as though they are doing an internal fit out, do we know what it’s going to be used for yet?

Hi Nick. Always great videos! Don't get the fencing outside the North Stand. From the main gates to the stadium is one type of fence. But the North West side is another type of fence with a curved top. What's all that about???

Excellent video as always Nick, a lot of the protective wrap has been removed from the east fan zone turnstiles, really starting to look close to the final finish now. One of the Drone Flyers got a Lovely shot, through the east barrel cladding, from down low, at the Sun shining through it, beautiful in the Autumn sunshine.

Your updates have been fabulous throughout the build Nick. Small question around the north end traffic route. No concerns at the risk with cars and fans on match’s days it looks like it could be very tight passing under that stand

Hi Nick the stadium looks ace ,but I have spotted a little thing that might be a safety issue on match days .We've all been to football grounds so you'll understand about the mad dash to clear the ground when the final whistle goes , and this causes congestion and pinch points and people will go out of their way to avoid these hold ups .So I've noticed on the Nelson dockside (south stand) the waterside protection fence is set back from the waters edge by around 3 meters and is low enough for a young fella to jump over and use this 3 meter walk way as a kind of fast lane to beat the congestion when the ground empties and if to many people have the same idea, well you can there's a risk of ending up in the dock ..stewards won't be able to stop people jumping over the fence maybe they should have moved the fence right against the dock edge like they have on the West side, thus eliminating this scenario and also widening the area creating more space..

Hi Nick great update as always mate. I was down on Friday morning talking to on of the security blokes on the south entrance gate (nice bloke for a red 😂😂) he was saying he had been informed LoR are on site till end of December does Dunc the blue or David know if this is correct ? I also noticed quite a few tarmac wagons lined up on site along the south elevation ready for a big pour, from your update you can see they have laid it the 60% of the length of the south elevation. Another area looking so near to being finished. Also the composite decking to the west elevation alongside the newly formed river is starting to look amazing. One last one Nick. Was that a police car parked by your car during your flight on Friday ? 😂😂

Hi Nick, thank you, Question - around 6.44 just after the water in the lock there seems to be some kind of grating on the ground what is that going to be? Plus I know its been mentioned before, but there isn't a lot of room where the fence is up next to united utilities, I'm guessing no vehicles will be able to even drive down there?

I cant work out if the open air sections in the stadium ie The South Stand are for fans to be able to congregate out doors have a pint etc? I wouldn't of thought so due to idiots throwing stuff down on to people?? Theres open sections on the main stand also..What do you know Mr Drone..? Thanks

Shame Everton don’t make Prince Rupert’s Tower a focal point such as lighting it up having a light shine from Bramley moore to the tower.

What's going on with the pitch now? It seems to have stalled. There is just a mound of dirt in the North West corner of the pitch that doesn't seem to be doing anything.
