Are you referring to the very narrow gap in the barrel cladding in each of the four corners which are supposedly expansion gaps?

Recon we could buy the two docs on ether side of staduim for training and other stuff be like a miny village..obviously prize money for winning stuff would pay for it so that has to happen first

The council and Historic England would never allow that, and the landowners are unlikely to sell to EFC.

The bit without the roof is where power comes into the site it’s a sub-station - you can see the step-down transformers. They don’t need to be covered so a roof is an unnecessary expense. The media compound is the car park bit where the trucks will park on match day and plug into the bit with the roof - there’s also a bog in there for them. It’s not a studio or anything like that 👍

Yep, and the TV studio is in the north west corner of the stadium, above the vehicle entrance/exit

Mabey the extension in the future the barrel cladding all the way round get rid of the windows for the extra ten thousand seats

I just don’t get the point of all those windows when they could fit in more seats. It looks wrong.

The stadium is built right up to the site boundary. The club don’t own the land beyond (north) and can’t build over water (south). They could have built it east / west which would have given bigger stands behind the goals but the club would have lost out big time on the hospitality facilities on the sides which command a higher price. The only expansion would be through safe standing being permitted at 2 to 1 seat - or 1.5 to 1 👍
