This will clear debt. Positive. It will put two savvy businessmen in charge. Positive. It will mean Everton belongs to two Evertonians. Positive. But going forward, it ,makes little difference, unless we are very patient. They can invest in Youth, Scouting, Medical Facilities, Training Facilities etc. But other than that, the maximum they can add into the coffers each year is £30m about one Beto's worth of funds. Anything else we'll have to generate and no mega Dell Sponsorship deals etc as we are constrained by PSR and PL rules. So best start getting behind Manchester City wiping out the Premier League and their financial rules. Otherwise, it's a long haul, of good business, good governance, good planning etc. Still expect the best of our players to be taken by the Big Six etc, until such time as we rebuild a reputation and commercial incomes etc. Be happy this will put the club back on sound footing, will secure us. But in the immediate future, it changes little (unless City win their case).

Michael Dell has operated an investment vehicle which targets sports franchises in the US for years. He makes relatively small strategic investments. Don’t get carried away. His interest in Everton is likely to be the same- part funding the acquisition- NOT taking outright ownership , and certainly not making unlimited amount of money available to the club, even if he does become a partner.Calm down ffs.

I am not surprised that the mega billionaires are coming after Everton. Why wouldn't they go after one of the most historic clubs in English football? If I was Michael Dell I would be looking at Everton very closely and would strike fast.
