Whenever I have something in the microwave, I put away dishes or pick up things in the kitchen while I'm waiting. You can pick up a lot in 2 minutes. It just becomes a habit and doesn't seem to take effort after a while.

You are seriously so amazing and encouraging! I do not know how you do all of this and raise three kids. I am just now trying to start a RU-vid channel and it’s seriously no joke. Lovely video Natalie I have been using those black cd/DVD cases for years.. They are brilliant!..they totally reduce "visual clutter" from the colourful DVD cases, even in a cupboard... And make finding films easier! I have the 80 cd/DVD-hold cases.. I have two for my old music CDs which I still love , and then category film cases 1) sci-fi, 2) fantasy, 3)action, 4) thrillers, 5) classics, 6) romantic 7) family, 8) cartoon films (each including the comedy from that genre) . They are great and take no space at all. I take the paper leafs out of the plastic dvd cases and put it in the black case loose in the page where the film disc is. The empty CD, DVD cases can then be put in the plastic recycle bins.. I guess I have a lot because I live abroad, I hate TV, I hate advertising breaks and don't pay for cable, satellite or Netflix.. When they get old and don't work well or I just don't want to watch them anymore I recycle them (there is a recycling bin for CDs, DVD discos at the recycle depot.

Totally random, but libraries for the blind may actually take empty DVD cases. My mom works for the Oregon state library for the blind and they use the cases for movies they send out to patrons, so I give her all my cases (I also store my movies in a binder).

We do the same thing with turning on the dishwasher every night no matter what. Then in the morning my 2 and 4 year olds unload it while I prepare their breakfast. The faster they go the sooner they get breakfast 😆🤭 works for us

100% agree with the magic of 2 minutes! Discovered that trick from Clutter Bug Cas & Minimal Mom Dawn always talking about 2-5 minutes of productivity and using those random times in the day wisely. And its amazing how well it works! I can get all the dishes done while making breakfast now and it also just makes you feel so productive in the day! Loving your videos! You should try the silicone baking cups for the kids lunches! I find that i'm not limited to putting in just dry snacks/foods in the paper ones since they start to disintegrate rather quickly. PLUS they are dishwashable, HALLELUJAH!
