If you get a sidewalk puncture before you plug, always drench the plug on super glue .It will never come out after repair. Drove 40,000 miles on a tire using super glue on a side puncture. Good Luck 👍
I am considering this tire, so thanks for the review. I am really disappointed that there isn't wheel lip protection. Most offroad tires have a thick area along the wheel lip area. And these don't, which is surprising.
Man, I can't find a set for sale, and my Land Rover rrreeaaallllyyyyy needs a new set of tires. I ran the Wildpeak at3/w for almost the last 70,000 miles which is insane mileage from a tire. Wheeled all across America, from California, to Maine and dozens of places in between. 62,000 miles were put on in the first year. If the RT 01 is half as good, I'd still be impressed. Just can't find any for sale!
I like your thinking: aesthetics first. This should factor in well if you’re in need of a replacement in the middle of nowhere. At least you’ll look cool. La forma sigue a la función. Saludos!
Hopefully those things last awhile, definitely not a cheap tire, but the load E range is cool and perfect for that setup or towing. Be interesting how to see how they survive the long trip.
I do a lot of highway driving to work and back I have a jku with these same tires in 38’s what tire pressure do you recommend? I don’t have no over land stuff on it and no spare tire, I have 65lb winch and 75lb front bumper
Okay!! nice video about the FALKEN RT/01 tires, will these be suitable for my daily driven 1985 Toyota 4runner SR5 5 speed with W56 5 speed transmission sitting on 35's with 5:29 gearing at both axles...?? please advise. btw, I don't tow anything, just camping gear.
Did you get into any snow/ice with these tires? I currently run the Falken ATW 3 tires, as I love to run to the desert whenever possible, but live in a mountain town with (record) snow. I like the aggressiveness (and E load) of the RTs but need snow and ice traction.
Well shoot, I just looked myself, and it doesn't have the 3 Peak Snowflake designation. So unless I have different winter/summer tires, I'm sticking with the ATW3s
