It took them 5 months just to make night mode on nancy house we needed that before the mill map. Now they’re pushing out content to compete with KK. They still haven’t fixed the gamechat bug and they claim to put out updates every2 week yea right😂😂😂
I’m personally under the impression that Virginia was always meant to be released on her own. If you look at the code names in the files, they have the new family member as “Alpha”, the Mill as “Beta”, another victim who’s supposedly Maria as “Charlie”, and Virginia was “Delta”. I’m guessing due to their dev team switching and contractual obligations with Barbra Crampton, they pushed her character out first and they delayed their other characters so they could actually work on them without causing any trouble. Also f the marketing bs with releasing content the same day as a competitor. That stuff makes no sense if you think about it but games do it all the time. If I was making a game that had a direct competitor, why even bother releasing content when they are because yeah it makes players choose either my game or their’s but why would I not 100% of the players who like my game to play it when I drop content? If I wanted to f over my competitors, I’d release content the day before their’s does so people would be more excited that my content came out sooner. This strategy just makes no sense imo.
Everything KK is doing is the opposite of Texas and I’m loving it, Non competitive, Proxy Chat, Randomly selected killers, character customization, etc

It’s literally been 6 months since a new family member, I asked them on their TikTok page and they said that the works on the new family member is still ongoing and they will release new info when they can.
I don't get what is taking so long or why they are being so secretive. They need to pick one. Ethier show us a picture and give us some info or hurry the f up.
I know why they take so long for family members but not for victims, it’s because of the mo-cap. They have to make every animation for family members except collecting blood but for victims they need to make like one or two animations for their abilities
The main problem for me is, it's been quite some time since mill already, at some point we are gonna get another map and it will come with (family) and victim, and they still haven't released this family, it's quite late. It seems like they haven't even started working on the next one. So I feel like ill be right about victims always being one ahead, appereantly it's just easier to make victims so they will always get more content than family.
I'll admit I have definitely been drinking the Killer Klows Kool-Aid for a while now. But I do think bots and no character preference could be major issues. That is not to mention balancing either. You think grappling is bad in TCM? Did you see what the devs were doing to the Klowns? Clown mains already mad lmaooo
I feel like they’re gonna either tease this or next week and then release the day kk comes out for pre orders. Pushing it over to june would delay all future content for them which is why I assume may is when the new family comes out. They did this last time with nancy and danny I think when chucky came out, and to be fair they did share the same amount of spotlight. However I think the devs know if eyes aren’t on them before kk comes out a little bit of the tcm fans are gonna move to kk. I will play both games however I think both of them are fun and amazing.
If I end up enjoying KK it’s going to be hard for me to go back to TCM even with a new family member. Illfonic has already made a filter system for lobbies so you are guaranteed a character

Would not be shocked if they dropped Maria and the new Family member at the same time at this point against Killer Clowns. Can only theorize they're using the Art Bully skins to buy time to scramble together a big new release after the dev transfer.
