I feel, as a person who plays both sides, I agree with a longer cooldown for the ripstall, and maybe remove one of his traps cuz he can have 4 with the right ability tree. Plus give bomb squad an extra charge.

This is very interesting!!!!! Since sissy mentioned the Hewit family then this means that this game is technically not related to the movie lore considering leatherface isn’t a hewit but a slaughter. In my opinion I think if they were to add movie victims to the game then it would be the ones who didn’t survive in the movie like Erin’s friends or the group of teens in the other reboot I forgot their names. I would hope that they would throw that all away though I would love to see sally and her friends in the game. I wouldn’t really care if it wouldn’t make sense if sally was to die in the game cause she survives in the movie I still think it would be nice to add them.
Isn't good game design that things are meant to have counters? Victims just shouldn't pick danny if hands is in the game then. Hands is not OP and I think his cooldown is long enough, I don't think its only 90 seconds. He chases poorly, if his ripstall was nerfed he'd turn into a weak character nancy 2.0
This is going to sound counterintuitive but, as a Danny main I like the inclusion of Hands. Do I have moments where I hated him because he denied me a free exit? Yeah, but the dynamic between Hands and Danny is fun for me, I have to be rushing and efficient with my object studying so I can tamper something between his cooldowns, it’s like we’re indirectly competing with each other on effectiveness. Although I do agree Hands does need a cooldown increase, he gets his ability in less than a minute it’s nuts lmaoo
I think that players don't realize that all victim abilities are able to counter certain family member abilities, as well as the family countering some of the victims' abilities. Leatherface - Everyone but Ana and Virginia, he's used to take down everyone instantly, Ana's ability bypasses this, negating most of the damage and Virginia can stop his revving and sometimes stall on the spot. Hitchhiker - Everyone but Sonny and Ana, Sonny can use his ability to see if where Hitchhiker is placing a trap and Ana can negative most of the damage with her ability. Cook - Everyone but Julie, Connie and Sonny, Julie's ability is the only one that isn't able to be detected by his hearing ability, very useful when running around undetected. Connie is the only one that can bypass Cook's locks immediately, regardless of them having security pins or not. Sonny can pinpoint where he is at any time, his hearing ability is way more useful than it looks. Johnny - Everyone but Julie, she's the only victim that can use her ability to completely negate his ability while running at full speed. Sissy - Everyone but Ana, Ana's ability is the only one that completely purges her poison, though it will make her have to retreat to recharge. Nancy - Everyone but Sonny and Virginia, Sonny's ability will pinpoint where she is in the map and move to another spot to make her waste time in searching where he once was. Virginia's powder makes her have to wait for her ability to recharge again when blinding her. Hands - The only character to counter Danny's ability effectively, making him waste his knowledge and resetting his progress for any exit. Hitchhiker, Nancy and Hands's traps can be dismantled by all victims with either the bomb squad perk or a bone scrap, it's just a matter of finding where the traps are. All family members can counter Maria, as her ability is only useful against Grandpa, she may have Ana's base stats, but she doesn't have her ability.
I feel like making the ripstall minigame harder when used on a tampered object is a nice middle ground, the cooldown should be increased but not to the degree of Connie's ability. 5 minute ripstall cooldown like some people (reddit) have been crying for is WAY too much
Hope for anniversary we get the 2003 Leatherface/Thomas Brown Hewitt skin even if it’s like the cost of Nicotero Skin I’d never use any other LF outfit 😂
I really think those two are a nice addition to the game. Maria is not the best victim for sure but she's definitly fun to play and Im all for it. Hands is really good for the family, finally a Danny counter, his Ripstall abilitie might be a bit too good however.
I just wanna point this out for Danny players. You can do the mini game to fully save ur full tamper bar, and then use the bar on a different onjective. Thats 2 objs tampered and Hands cannot stop both. If people would find new ways to work around stuff instead of crying this community would be in a better spot.

I swear family mains just wanna walk down to the basement and kill everybody while they're still on hook. I don't even family main and I played 8 games as family the other night and there was 1 total escape. He's broken.
@jblank2215 lol no you victims just want an easy win. Yall were so happy danny was op. Now it's even. Be better, hands is easy to counter. His ripstall has a cool down. Hit pressure make him use it then in the meantime have a teammate open fusebox. Boom thats an easy win and easily done.
@honda56221 lol and then him or leatherface go body block the exit door.. what's easy to counter when you walk up to a gate and it has a hitchhiker trap, Hands trap, cook lock, security pins and no one escapes hell? Oh plus they knew you were there because of exterior alarms. You can only carry 2 items. So you pick both traps, go to get unlock tools and come back and both traps are reset. Or go to fuse box it has hands trap and hitchhiker trap. I need two bones, an unlock tool and the fuse... how is any of that "fair". You have all kinds of time to kill danny before he even gets his meter full. These are not even close to equal.

Honestly hands is easy to counter just go to the other exit while he’s on the other side He’s very slow and if he uses his ripstall it goes on cooldown so go do other objectives. I’ve had so many people escape me he’s not hard at all to beat
Fr. Plenty of times I was able to do pressure gate he would use rip stall on it then I would hit fuse and since his ability was on cool down he couldn't shut it off and we all eacaped
the best part there saying danny ability is useless no geniuses his ability is essential u tamper valve force him to use rip stall then escape fuse or somewhere else its not rocket science
Except when you have a Hitchhiker double trapping valve, and trapping fuse, while Hands also traps valve/fuse with a good team it’s gonna be a miracle if you manage to get that tamper off.

Danny was completely broken and unbalanced for 3 months and just remember his ability also had a bug where he could finish the tamper early. I was playing Danny during all that and i feel like it was too easy. Victim is already easy but with pre nerf Danny was a walk in the park During all that the only counter (?) Was maybe Leatherface guarding the valve, tunneling and putting pressure on the Danny player and that's it So heres the thing let Hands be broken and unbalanced for 3 months, seems fair. I also i got full team escapes against Hands. Is not that hard to pull off.

Hands is strong but he hardly needs tuning, if anything he just needs a cooldown increase. it should stay at 2 minutes max even at lvl 3 with instant ripstall being a factor for lvl 3. similar to insta tamper for Danny. The victims need buffs with his addition though because they've been getting nerfed since launch...not major buffs but minor tweaks like how many bone scraps are able to be grabbed from a pile or more bomb squad charges. speed buffs even because lately victim stamina has been shit and they seem to run ALOT slower since the update. Toughness needs a buff also because even at 42 to 50 toughness its not strong enough, especially when victims can get bombarded with attacks while going down a well. I don't think victims should be balanced with the family though bc i like the challenge that hands brings to the table, matches last longer and escapes aren't so easy to the point that the game becomes boring. I'd just like to see victim buffs because personally I don't see an issue with hands except for his rip stall cooldown being too short at lvl 3. it's like a minute and 20 seconds. that's not long enough for valve to finish or long enough for whoever activated the fusebox to make it to the exit in time. Unless victims are good players, smart, and on coms, thats the only justifiable counter for hands but sadly majority of ppl play solo que so that majority of people along with newer players to the game will be the main ones complaining instead of looking for a work around or a balance that may actually work well for both sides.

It's easy to counter him. You just gotta work as a team and hit two objectives back to back. He cannot two places at once and his ripstall is on a cooldown

Go down well, do something else, unless you are on sawmill so a family can guard fuse and valve really close together, it ain’t that hard, or just grab 2 fuses, make hands rip stall it then do it again especially if you are Danny works every time
Sumo stuff this game up so much gun do questionable things a lot but they do do good stuff sometimes but I’m just glad they held on to this game they were in a horrible spot and were able to make a come back
It's alot better now after the dlc.. pickin up major steam.. and this game is better then DBD times 10.. the intensity don't even compare.. neither does the horror feel.. and TCM wins by a land slide I've played both.. get it ASAP you won't be disappointed
A couple weeks ago I spoke to the gun game runners and they assured me that there will be no choptop. That Warner bros. acquired the rights and that it wasn’t really possible. But then again they also said Maria was dead 👀 lol
