Hey POPE!! I really hate to burst your bubble... but KUDOS to the video engineers! This song was NEVER performed live by Queen and Freddie, What you just watched was a video mish-mash of clips from other concerts by Freddie, as a matter of fact, this is the song that Brian said Freddie was deathly ill and could barely stand up to the mixing desk. Freddie said he'd do it, downed two shots of vodka and nailed it in one take.... Arquest(??) has done marvelous videos of songs never played live, like Innuendo, Let Me Live, etc., amazing how they can sync the song to the video so effortlessly... thank you for the reaction... please keep'em comin'... we love it...and we love you!! This was a fan made video to the studio version of the song. Freddie was unable to perform this live due to his illness. He was barely able to stand while recording this song.

Hi ! Well yes it is one of the greatest ! all great songs ! One other great Album would be ( Made in heaven ) was released 2 years after Freddy s passing ! from my memory ! I could be wrong ! It could be a bit more or less than 2 years ! I play the whole Album driving my truck in the Canadian Rockies in memory of my brother who was 3 years younger than me it s called Leaving (Sycamus, BC. )I speak french for the first few minutes then i push play ! All original sound from the truck s CD player ! great choice of live show ! Impressive quality right ? thanks ! When you click on anyone s logo it takes 1 second and you re in ! i do that alot ! LoL 😋

Freddie was so I’ll at the time of this recording, Brian May Queens lead guitarist apparently approached Freddie one day and said I’ve written a new song do you think you’re well enough to sing it , Freddie replied yea darling and took a big drink of vodka and sang this amazing performance in one take , Freddie mentioned in a interview before he knew that he was I’ll , Who Wants To Be Old Bones , sadly Freddie passed away aged 45 years old, one of every ones favourite Queen songs , great reaction thanks 🙏

Yep, that guitar solo was played by Dr. Brian May PhD, Astrophysicist. The members of Queen are the most talented men on and off the stage! Who studies to become an Astrophysicist in their down from being the lead guitarist of the greatest bands to ever grace the stage, Dr. Brian May PhD does! 😎

I intended to comment that it was the studio version artificially manipulated to appear as live with a tacked on finale but others have already done that very well. To think that this & Innuendo were written & recorded shortly before his death is beyond incredible. His will to summon the strength to produce two final masterpieces & give them to the world as the curtain closed is mind blowing. A few more great Queen tracks you may not have yet done are "Who wants to live forever" , "Tie your mother down" & "Death on two legs" Best wishes

Hey Hon… FYI, there is NO actual live performance of this song. Freddie recorded it in his last months before he passed away… This is a fan-made mash-up of various Queen performance bits. REQUEST: It would be GREAT if you could react to the Official Music Video. While I’m usually all for fan-made videos, the AUDIO on this one DOES NOT do justice to Fred’s vocals. The sound quality in the original is so much better, and they did a MARVELOUS job of editing together video snippets from Fred’s life/career together as a tribute to him.

You chose a great song to be your favorite!!! This was not performed live. Freddie was dying and too weak to hardly stand. Brian told Freddie that he might be ale to hit the high notes in his condition. Freddie said "F*** it, give it to me. Freddie downed some vodka and as Brian said, he just lacerated the vocals. A fan did a good job of editing the song against a video of another live performance and it looks great! Freddie was actually dying when he sang this! Absolutely amazing!

I hadn't heard of it being released before and can't find any info that it was. it was also included on Queen greatest hits 3 album but as far as I can see not as a single. it's fine it was on there but I'm a bit salty other artists were inc but not Freddies winters tale which was the very last song he wrote and sang himslef before his death No 6 UK no sense it wasn't inc but songs that were never singles were wiki In April 2002, for the 10th anniversary of the Mercury Phoenix Trust, the second half of the concert (featuring the performances by the surviving members of Queen) was released on DVD and entered the UK charts at No. 1 Several songs from the concert have also been released in audio-only format: Metallica's three-song performance was made into a UK tour edition single for "Nothing Else Matters", entitled Live at Wembley Stadium and released in Europe just one week after the concert, on 27 April 1992. Guns N' Roses' performance of "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" was released in May 1992 as a double A-side, with the band's studio recording of the song; it was also featured on their album Live Era '87-'93. The single entered the UK charts at No. 2. Freddie Mercury never performed this song live... it was written & recorded in 1990/ '91 when he was too sick to perform in concert, so Queen had not toured since 1986... Freddie died in '91 the year this single came out. Queen + Adam Lambert have performed 'The show must go on' in concert since 2014.

Why is it terrible? The guy who made it is obviously a fan and he doesn't pretend it's real. I think it's a great homage to Queen. He obviously worked hard to edit it to fit the song.
