I like your video. I'm a solar engineer just gave you sub and a like, hope to some day inform and educate people like this and continuously increase my knowledge in the field
When you get an error 04 at peak sunlight of the day, what could be wrong and what can be done… It keeps flashing red and the amps and watts turns 0 at intervals. Please I await your response. Thanks
Bro you have really been a light to us the users. I watch u everyday. Especially weekends I watch u morning till night digesting.. want to say thank you🙏. U have really inspired my knowledge towards inverter system… pls is felicity inverters durable 🙏
A tear down actually shows they paid attention to the flaws of the old design. Functionality wise, Transient handling has been improved. Hope they will find a way to add cooling fan cos it will drastically improve the lifespan.
i just installed one yesterday, a challenge i noticed on this new design is the installation process.. the screw is hidden behind the system which is a little bit challenging to mount it
Place on the wall then mark the hole with a pen marker, bring down the device and then drill. Put Fisher peg in the hole and then put a screw in it. Finally handg the controller.
I have a question Sir, please do you know the function of that RJ45 port on the device? Is there a way to read the stats on this controller remotely? I am in dire need of this information! would appreciate any help or walk-around!
I did an installation two days ago with the new charge controller but the issue is that in the inverter is used for only Night. So whenever the charger controller charges the battery fully charged, instead of it to stop charging it will be showing the fault light and tryna charge again but still show the fault light when it senses the battery fully charge. Pls is that how’s programmed
Great!💯💯 but please can the settings be done with/through the modbus? Instead of having to make use of the buttons to set the parameters. Or is the modbus just for monitoring the system?
The display looks very basic for a charge controller and I wonder if it comes with the ability to detect the type of battery connected and if it has default charging settings for different battery types. Does it come with a modbus module for remote connection and monitoring, or will a user have to search for and purchase that separately?
Yeah I agree the display is quite basic, it doesn't detect the battery type only detects voltage of the battery. It has default charge settings for batteries. It has a modbus
In all the new one is technologically more advanced than the old one. However, cooling cannot be as efficient as in the old one because plastic is a poorer loser of heat through radiation than metal.
