Thanks for the clear, step by step directions. I didn't realize that you could update firmware via the CPS. I tried using the IAP application that comes from Radioddity but the instructions weren't clear. After a few false starts I decided to put off until I had more time to figure it out. Fortunately I got the notification that you had a new video and as usual you explained it and I was able to update the firmware on the first try. Radioddity should hire you to create tutorial videos for the GD-88. Seriously
Thank you ! and Question in about Cps editor by David? -Online search Repeater book finds Repeater and we can import list to radio by location BUT... -When we write to radio all the repeaters are displayed/ show by NAME. - Can we change that? - Is more important to know where is the repeater location, whe we travel showing the name of the repeater on radio is usless can we set or change the CPS wriite to the radio the LOCATION of the repeaters as seen in Repeater Book search? -

Hi, I have put this version on my GD-88 but I am still finding it very buggy. The volume still has lots of lag and doesn't always display properly. In dual watch mode if I change a channel on the second band the first band sometimes randomly changes channel to something else. I don't know if this is right but the signal meters only seem to display briefly after receive has finished and not during.
