Daniel, i loved watching you teaching Houston about digging and planting. I remember my dad teaching me about gardening, etc. These are things he will never forget. my dad has been gone for 7 years now - i miss him every day. Love the pond - great job.

I love the Weeping Japanese Maples. Just remember those get to be a good size. I would suggest planting a few feet back from the pond or else it will end up covering your pond. I can't wait to see it all finished. So pretty.
DeJay's message today was very powerful. God moves through your family in such a strong way. I think that is one of the things that had me coming back. You always have some message even when you don't think you are, and that helped me in a hard time.

Just FYI, you can easily root the Creeping Jenny. Just take runners off of the plants and place them in good dirt and water them as with the other plants. It is great to spread and cover really well. Great work. The pond is looking awesome. Hard work pays off and Houston is learning great skills/
I was so hoping it was koi in that box, and I was right! I was sitting here thinking, 'please let it be koi and no more than three'! They are beautiful and will grow quite large, as will the goldfish that you have in there. The pond looks awesome. You did a great landscaping job. Personally, I would not add any more landscaping, as what you have there is going to grow. 😍❤️👍

The plants look great! Loved the Japanese Willow! It will be cool to see it next summer. Our family enjoys going to the creek too! Its nice, and relaxing. The pond came out fantastic. Just listening to the water flowing is so relaxing. Now I'm thinking we need a small pond with a waterfall in our yard. I can just see me sitting on the patio doing my Bible study and hearing the water. 🙏❤
I am amazed at how small the pond is and that you did not add bigger rocks at the back to make it look taller ,..even if you didn’t run the water over them. You all did a great job adding plants. So enjoyed your swim in the creek. So glad you got the little butterfly fish so pretty! The bass and the blue hill are great for the stock pond.
WHEN I KEPT HEARING THIS COMPANY WAS COMING TO INSTALL A BIG FISH POND, I SURE DIDNT EXPECT THEM TO PUT IN A WATER HOLE SMALLER THEN THE STOCK TANK.. WHEN I HAD MY LANDSCAPE COMPANY AND DID A FREE INSTALL TO PROMOTE MY BUSINESS I PUT HUGE deep PONDS IN WITH 2 TO 3 DROPS TO ANOTHER POND AND DID ALL THE WATER FALLS,ROCKS AND PLANTING LANDSCAPING.. that just something i use to put on a big deck.. ops caps didnt see it was on..
@@arnoldromppai5395 I know I was really curious as to why it is so small and with all the rocks that had been delivered it looked like plans must’ve changed once the crew was onsite and discovered just what they had to work with. When I had seen Houston at the Aquascape store that showed the display ponds I never expected what would ultimately be built wouldn’t be much larger then the display models. I expected it to be a swimming area for humans as well as fish, but perhaps the aquascape people didn’t have more then a day to build it? Because they did work from Dawn to dusk it seemed. Maybe had hit a road block during the dig and uncovered too much rock to have to drill through? I definitely think they can expand the pool area and make it more of a swimming pool but hey if they are happy with it then that’s all that matters.🥰❤️🇨🇦🫶🏻

Love this!💕💕🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸it’s really beginning where you put your gold fish in. They were so much smaller when you put in first pond. They will continue to grow & they’ll love this new pond. Years ago my son had a beautiful fantail that had grown to be about size of hand. Their was a power outrage while we were gone and lost all of our fish. Sharing my memories. 😁well, I should’ve waited to end but love the fun @ the creek! So refreshing. heat index over 100 today in Alabama.
The pond looks absolutely beautiful! You both did a wonderful job of landscaping around it. Good thing those plants are in shade with this awful heat we are having🥵 when you water the plants, check to make sure the water has soaked down through the mulch to the soil, because mulch absorbs a lot of water. Just a tip. I love it all and seeing Houston and Bella swim in the creek is sweet🙏❤️

It’s looks soooo beautiful!! I can’t wait to see that red Japanese willow to fill in - it’s gonna be gorgeous! One question, I forget because I sold my home in ‘07. Moved in with my “significant other” who turned out to be a lot different than the man I had known for over 7 years! C’est la vie! When I hadn’t house we usually broke up the root balls a bit to ensure a better “take” to the soil. Was that wrong? I plan to buy another home (apartment life is not for me - flushing water down the drain to me. Anyway…DO tell DeJay her “Jesus and Donkeys” was just what I needed today! Her testimony was so beautiful and made me much more thoughtful about my own life after losing my 27 yr old daughter four years ago. Much love to ALL of the family!!! God bless

Houston has such an amazing enthusiasm for everything he does but is so thankful to all that have helped to and given him the chance to indulge his passion for wildlife whether its his love of turtles or the eggs to hatch and especially his pond by the aquascape team as well as you both as parents that encourage him

A boundary of rocks or landscaping timbers really makes it look finished and also is easier to trim or mow around. But looks awesome so far.like the idea of using plants from around the Creek
I love watching you all and especially when you go to the creek. Growing up, and still today, I have wonderful, treasured memories of going to Sulphur and swimming in the Springs. As an adult approaching 50 I still love to go there and enjoy the Springs. Love the small pond and the landscaping is going to beautiful when they mature and spread out. Beware the ornamental grasses as they tend to grow and spread like crazy. Awesome choice Houston.

Pond looks beautiful already and will only improve as the plants start to fill out. That waterfall is a soothing sound. I always use cedar mulch. Even in front of a gate where my dogs lay, waiting for me to come home, cedar repels fleas, ticks and other insects.
The pond is looking really good. Those Japanese Maples are beautiful. I hope it makes it in the brutal Oklahoma weather. I know two gold fish that live in a tire water trough. Maybe Dusty will let you offer them a new home. Thanks for sharing!
I have a very fine leaf red maple now. Have had 4-5 at past properties. North facing planting is best. Spring is their show time. When the sun gets very hot it burns the leaves up like a blight. My favorite spotlight trees.
Yes, if Oklahoma allows it, as it's illegal in certain warmer states, due to it escaping into waterways and making a mess. They're beautiful, though. One sad thing is that the koi will keep the roots trimmed and also some of the leaves as well. That would keep mine from blooming as much, but put into protective custody, stay from koi mouths, those roots make excellent water cleaners. One plant also will soon expand to too many, if kept away from the nibbling koi.

Your pond looks beautiful! My grandma always said to fill the planting hole with water before you plant shrubs(especially), let it settle and then plant your plants. And then water again. Helps to make sure the roots get enough water at planting time! God Bless!

Excellent video, I really enjoyed watching. The pond and landscaping looks fantastic. I am excited to see what kind of taller foliage you put at the top of and sides of the pond. I have a suggestion. How about putting a step down from the garage area and a stone path to the pond around the front of the pond to the other side. Maybe even a bench on the opposite side of the pond. Just a suggestion.

I think the waterfall at the creek would be a great place to do daily devotionals and read the bible and relax and embrace the wonders God gave us!! Waterfalls are my favorite sound. Its my go to sound on the sleep machine. So relaxing😎
