Oh boy..let it rain..SO REAL!!! how long actually was this flight..about 8hrs? I see that United uses a B767 for this route. very smooth takeoff, great sound pack,beautiful scenery,mountains..awesome appraoch over the Newark City area..sweet landing...you did well

Irfan Soeparno, it doesn't matter that LM has put their name to it. The flight model still hasn't moved on from the FSX days and still feels unrealistic in some situations, especially in a stall.

nick Bates Not really, XP-11 is realistic, but not to the extent P3D is. Given that P3D is made for pilots, it has to be realistic.

It fits with the 'modern' times though. Everywhere you go you're attacked by advertising. Watch a movie; it's more advertising than movie. "We'll be right back after this break". when they should rather say; "This is a commercial, with content-breaks". Modern business-life is terrible. It's more about competition than content. More money is spent on advertising than product-development. A huge waste of resources. Oh well, the flightsim is great though. Lockheed knows their stuff :) (They should; they're super-rich)

Hi, is it actually possible, to show more than one angle at the same time? I was thinking of splitting the screen in two half, horizontally or vertically, or even in four quarters. "Fly by" and "Top down" are two other interesting angles.

What software do you use? I stopped at Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 with plenty of extensions. I had a lot of airports and realistic planes including 737-800, 747-400, 727-200 and some turboprops. I know that Microsoft dropped the Flight Simulator. I am not sure what would be the best software if I want to go back to flight sim today.

Not a negative comment, just a question. I notice at about 8:56 you rolled onto the active runway for takeoff and flipped some switches in the overhead console. Shouldn't that have been done prior to taking the active? I'm just thinking about a 'no delay' take off clearance; no time for that stuff then, yes? No? Then again, if there isn't any real ATC / Tower instructions it's all mute.

Question: I have seen some of your P3D videos and the simulator looks amazing. I am strongly considering getting it. So I haev ahd a look at their website but I need to purchase a license to download the game. Which license should I get? I know it is probably between the 'Professional' and 'Professional Plus' licenses, but which did you purchase. Also, if it was the 'Professional Plus', then I might hold back on getting that one because it is $2300 which is more expensive than my computer. Thanks:)

If I had a wishlist for the "next generation" of flight sims, besides super accurate weather and environmental rendering, my first wish would be for there to be more accurate modeling of passengers, pets, luggage and co-pilots etc. To actually see a co-pilot of your choice helping with the checklist and startup sequence as well as coordinating hand-off procedures in flight etc would be cool.
