Wow, I didn’t know you were flying with an airline, congratulations! I had the chance to fly through Amsterdam for the first time last summer on KLM. I was already fascinated by seeing it in the sim and it was even more amazing in real life! Vast diversity of action, I got to takeoff and land on the Polderbaan (with the long taxis to and from lol), and KLM staff was amazing with their help (as a handicapped passenger). Amsterdam is definitely one of my favorite international airports now. I hope I get a chance to fly through soon!

Good scenery, fly tampa Quality I hoped it would be a bit more like ebbr which in my view is one of the best sceneries ever but im still happy with ams especially since weve all been waiting long time for it
Oh wow congratulations on becoming a 777 S/O!! And thanks for the great review! Other notable things I found that are outdated are the Martinair Cargo sign on the Sierra Apron which has been removed recently (unfortunately) and the KLM Hangars which have gotten a new different paintjob (a few years back already)
Thank you! Good points yeah, maybe I secretly like the Martinair sign to still be there haha. But you can see some of the scenery is still based on some of their older versions, but I'm sure it will be more up to date over time!
@@AviationPro Very true, however they did update the roadways at Schiphol Center at least. Their recent X-Plane EHAM release from earlier this year still uses the 2016 layout from V1.0 before construction started irl. And yeah same, it's a real shame they removed that Martinair sign.
So sad I will not able to catch you in EHAM anymore, as I changed a company and flying corporate jets - and we are flying to EHRD. Hope you are enjoying B787 - congratulation are at place, you made it!! - and see you on the skies. If you will ever see Cessna Citation flapping wings on your starboard, please do not call F16s/F35s on us :D
Ah that's a shame! Luckily EHRD is very close, so maybe we hear each other on the frequencies some day haha. I will definitely look out for that Cessna Citation! :D
someone please help, ive tried everything and my msfs jetways are not dissapearing, ive removed them from gsx installer, i redownloaded the scenery ive redownloaded the game but nothing works. Im now stuck with ing jetways that dont do anything and floating msfs white jetways
Thanks for reviewing the scenery. I'm not from Amsterdam but I do like flying there with the wonderful Vatsim controllers. And so cool that you are now a RL Boeing pilot! In MSFS do you also fly Boeing airliners and which do you prefer?
Very good and accurate review. Thank you for that. I own FT EHAM. First installed it on Xbox via the Marketplace. Then progressed to pc. On PC I also installed GSX. Excluded the jetways via GSX. Installed the GSX profile you mention. Tried just about everything you can think of. Read all the FT forum articles. Emptied rolling cache etc etc. Still I see double jetways. The FT jetways (as per original) and the MS jetways. I just cant get rid of them. Very annoying. Still waiting to get approval to post on FT forum with this. But I have done just about everything you can think of. Thought I tried my luck here and see if I have missed something somewhere. Hope you can give some advice.
You’re welcome! Not sure why that happens, hopefully they can help you out on the FlyTampa forums. Maybe also check that the default Asobo Amsterdam scenery is removed from the content manager, so no double airport is installed.
@@AviationPro It made no difference removing the standard Asobo scenery whatsoever. And I am waiting to be let in into the Flytampa forums to post this problem.
I think they can’t model the interior of the tower because the change to get there is so small!! and you are not allowed to make any pictures from inside
Being a long-time simmer and having almost all of FlyTampa's products, I gotta say, this airport has been a big disappointment to me so far. The entire thing isn't up to their own standards. There are so many small issues/mistakes/low textures that you'd honestly think it was made by one of the lower-tier developers. I really hope that they eventually bring it up to their own standards.
