agreed, a refret is too much on top of the price of this guitar. You could get a japanese guitar with SS frets already on it.

To everyone complaining about not having stainless steel frets: most guitars don’t have them, and just because a guitar has them does not make them good. Also, not all stainless steel is created equal. I have a $4000 guitar with stainless steel frets and I wish it didn’t have them. The sound they make when you’re fretting and such is kinda distracting.

Needs an OFR, also the "Malibu Sunset" looks more like the upside down German flag. 🇩🇪 Oh and of course insert whining about "nO sTaInLeSs StEeL fReTs" from idiots who will have bought & flipped 3 new guitars before the frets will ever have a change of gotten worn out.

While the people who claim durability is the main takeaway from having SS frets, as someone who lives on the coast in an extremely humid climate, it's an absolute deal-breaker. I don't know if you've ever had to descale oxidation from Nickel frets - it's the absolute worst. Going through the seasons and opening up guitar cases that aren't in my main rotation, and having to damn near de-scale frets, I made a promise I won't compromise for anything less anymore. Spending hours with fret erasers, brass-o, and exacto razors chipping away at it. My skin crawls even thinking of opening another case and finding moss-like green nastiness coated on my frets. Just some reasoning for why this would be a deal breaker from someone who actually shops exclusively for SS fretwire.

The Pro-Mod DK24 series are really great playing guitars especially for the price range. I have the black Pro-Mod DK24 HH model and absolutely love it. Charvel knocked it out the park with these guitars!

If they did that pink one with a different bridge pickup it'd be perfect! The last dk24 I had was fitted with one and didnt like it even though the rest of the geetar were perfect. Seriously though that pink with that neck is mega!

Have the gloss black version. Fantastic guitar. I did however swap the A5 in the bridge pickup for a large ceramic from a TB-6 and I put pearl tuning buttons on the peg. Honestly, despite being aimed clearly at the IBZ AZ like, these charnels feel and play more like an RG than an AZ, which I dig

If they offered stainless on the pro mod, there would be no point in buying the made in Japan version. That’s really the only major difference between the two. I just got a killer deal on my 2023 pro mod, half the price of MJ version with almost exact same specs. Nickel lasts a long time, most people buy new guitars before nickel ages anyways.
