I wish ryobi would stop making Brushed vacuums, they need to go brushless. The brushed ones use too much battery . They should come out with a 2 speed brushless like Milwaukee .
Yeah - for all of their great innovations , Ryobi still likes to cheap-out in puzzling and frustratingly stubborn ways. Brushed motors in certain tools is a big one. Like they still don't have a brushless orbital sander. Harbor Freight even has a 60dollar hercules brushless orbital sander now, for pete's sake!
Egos fan is nicer and stronger- the plug and when I’m buying battery that’s what I’m buying both nope I’m going all in battery technology is here and getting better all the time and batteries will come down or everyone will settle with ryobi unless they get thier act together
The Ryobi vac seems like a decent solution for a condo owner or someone renting an apartment who's trying to save on the money/space a full size shop vac would take up. Not perfect, but definitely innovative and useful!
Don't bother i have/had the Ryobi stick vac and shopvac and they both have horrendous suction. Got a Ridgid and Milwaukee one to replace them and not looking back
I was thinking of this shop vac bucket top for cleaning my gutters. I have to go up on the roof to do so. I thought this would be an easy way to bring up a lightweight shop vac and just vacuum the leaves out of the gutters. Do you think it would at least work for that purpose?
Hey TJ, how does this Ridgid fan compare to the multiple Ryobi 18/40 volt fans? Any idea how it may compare to the just announced Milwaukee fan? I ask because I’m in the market for a fan exactly like this but I don’t want it to be overly loud and I have plenty of batteries for all the previously mentioned battery platforms.
Another new vacuum that is way overpriced something like this should only be about $29.99 but they're trying to double up or triple up on getting more money out of the consumer when jobs are at the lowest it seems like they're trying to take money right out of your pocket that is our opinion have a good one
I love new tools but what sucks is youve just bought a drill for example next thing u know there's a new one that is more efficient amd your like i need that one so now you have 2 drills. Then here comes another one its a domino effect
I could be wrong but I’m guessing that slot is so you can leave the hose connected and wrap it around under the handle and into the crevice tool to keep it all coiled together.
Considering they make cyclone filters that attach to tops of buckets it seems like a missed opportunity for Ryobi to not also integrate that into the design
Why couldn't they came out with a bigger hose like a 3-in hose so you can pick up more material faster these little tiny hoses get clogged so easily we got this going downhill fast that's our opinion have a good one
About time. I've been using 3 of the smaller fans for 2 years. I've been raising hell about this and some other tools I'm hoping ridgid will bring out. Keep going ridgid!
I know both Milwaukee and TTI have said there’s no cross talk/development between Milwaukee and the other three Ryobi, Ridgid, and Hart, but man the coincidences are really piling up.
Thats a marketing technicality. They don't directly talk to each other but best believe they have a catalogue of parts to choose from that were made by other TTI teams at one point. This is why so much looks the same. Don't fall for that crap market talk.
I was pretty hesitant about ryobi but I love their battery deals with 2 free tools. Return the tools and get whatever you want. But I have like 4 batteries from them so I got the 18g brad nailer. Fucking love it. So I started using the tools. They are pretty good
