Hey JP, when is Shimano going to add Core Protect or X Protect to more baitcasting reels? All of the spinning reels from Nasci up have one or the other. It’s long overdue
Haven't heard anything about that. Calcutta Conquest may be the only one that I know of with X Protect but on reels like Tranx, that have salt application, they tend to change the design to adjust more vulnerable areas. Maintenance is really key in the salt... been using Curado's for years with no issue
