It really works I was in one of the fort towers shooting at there ship then someone came up to the tower to look for me he grabbed a keg that was in there and lit it sure it gave me away but he had no idea no idea at all
Guys just to let you know, I did the fort yesterday. It took a long time and when we got to the final boss, he glitched underground. This happened to us. If this happens to you, sail away until you do not hear the music then go back and the boss should be back on the island, it doesn’t reset what you have do to them to.
So me and my crew have run this four times now, and from what I have learnt, you can do it as fast as 16 minutes. For the first rounds run a keg into the main room and blow it, wiping out each wave of skeletons, this also stops players from using those kegs on you. Use the firebomb crates on the Captain's and don't use the flame skulls. If you keep the flame skulls you can pull an average of about 315k-365k with a reaper emmisary grade V. For the final bosses, just focus one of them and if you hit a good sword chain combo, you can finish them quickly. If you need the kegs desperately at the end for commodations keep them, if not, blow them up! They only make you about 15k maximum. Make sure to stock up! Buy a crate and hit an island or two to replenish your supplies, you will need it for the other ships! Good luck!
Me and my friend did a sloop run of it We had an inactive server with only slops running about. We got a free fort And it was my first Athena :) Edit:We made almost 100k on the fort alone Edit2: the final boss, my advice is move your ship a decent bit away from the island because he gas an attack that can damage your ship!
The old forts spawned every THIRD hour not TWO, the eventually made it two later on...then now way to often! - Damn your mic were dusty on this video haha....you have a pretty high quality cam :D *thumb up*
I have to say... It is my least favourite of all the forts, it just takes too long and there are 4 BOSSES! And 18 waves! it is an amazing fort for loot and all but you need a good crew of 3-4
How is anyone ever gonna get this done and get the loot for themselves? 15 waves and bosses takes a long time to do and with all the players on their way to fk u up... This really is something for the vets of the game only.
Already tucked a brig and blew them to the aliennnnns since they took the kegs onto there boat. They had ever keg and reg ones it was such big boom I couldn't get off the boat in time and everyone died
Poor sea of thieves devs are trying so hard to make the ashen lords relevant, but to give them credit this fort is probably the only time people will ever see them to the point they may as well get rid of the ashen lord event in the wild
Yo Hitbo I have a question about the premium plunder pass. If you buy the premium plunder pass for 999 ancient coins and manage to get your renown all the way up to 100 will you get your 999 ancient coins back? making it so you could buy next seasons plunder pass "for free"
It is hard, we spent 3 hours with almost no one stepping foot on the island because 3 sloops and a brig were fighting the entire time. The event ended with no one completing it
As a launch player, I LOVE this fort. Yesterday my buddy and I got on to try and see if we couldn't steal an Athena or get some nice PvP. We spent 3 whole hours fighting an alliance server for the fort loot. Stole the Athena, kept fighting them, damn it was fun.
You forgot to mention that there are mega kegs, and other little things you can dig up to help fight the waves on the fort. Also, if you use your cannons to fight the waves and you have to fight anything on the way back you'll be SOL. Don't use your cannons, just get the job done with throwables and kegs if you can...
Fought 2 Brigs yesterday with two of my friends for over 4 hours to claim the Fort of Fortune once and for all and it was some of the most fun I’ve had on the game.
For those of you who want to steal: Stock your supplies up, most battles for the fort are attrition based as most of the better skilled players will go there. Depending on how many crew members you can spare, take a row boat and place it inbetween where your ship is parked, and the fort. This will allow for a checkpoint for you to go back to, should you be found tucking. Wait for the Kegs at the end, and try to steal the flame skull to burn players that are doing the fort. This will take away from how much you can earn but will be worthwhile. And most importantly have fun, and hope it isn't me or my crew you try to rumble 😂 Have a great time on the sea of thieves everyone.
Had one yesterday. My friend and I were up against 2 other sloops and Galleon and we came out on top with the fort and loot. One the most engaging and enjoyable experiences I've had in the game for a long time.
Tried this yesterday. Had a sloop (me) and brig in an alliance. We sunk an aggro galleon. New one came, he joined us as well. He betrayed us at the end with a mega keg. Heart broken hahah
Thank you for the guide, but how come it looked like no one came to fight you. In my server the fort came up and it was a two galleon, one brig, and me and my buddy on a sloop fight it lasted 4 hrs and it was so much fun even though I had to get off because the fighting lasted too long.
I love your content dude but I really don't like the event or watching you do it, after a week tucking is going to be boring again it's the same content that made mason leave the game due to being stale and this is just a fort and ashen winds in one, I really hope your content don't turn back into you server hopping everytime to just sit in a tower for 5 hours, it's not fun to watch and we have been doing this for years, so many ppl are happy about a new event but it's not good them forts will be dead once people have the stuff they want which is bad for the game
