I'd love a house video of Giardini Di Toscana. Only Anne Lauren & Gabby Loves Perfume have talked about Celeste & they love it. I had a very similar initial experience as you with Celeste. But WOW, I'm addicted to this scent now. It's so peaceful to me. I spray my nightgown and longevity is eternal. Thanks for your recommendations.
Hy Chris ! I love you ideas ,can you make a video about Giardini di Toscana , I am very interested in your opinion about perfumes Christos ,I love Celeste
Will Be Love I wanted to BB as well based off the notes. BUT I hated Vani Noire so much I said let me sample WBL first lol. Glad I did because its nothing like the notes would suggest.
Right???!!! I’m glad you said that. I seriously thought I was crazy. And I’ll never forget your video about Vani Moire. I laughed so hard at your description!!! 😂
Well, isn’t this a coincidence🤩🤩. My friend has just come back from a trip abroad and came back with my discovery set of Giardini di Toscana and Argos 😍😍. Celeste surprised me especially the dry down it felt like I am walking in a violet candy shop😍😍. I know that doesn’t make sense but that’s what I’m getting in the dry down and I love it💜💜. Bianco Oreo is way too strong for me🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️. I will go through the Argos set and check out the ones you have highlighted🤩🤩. Stay gorgeous 🥰🥰
Hi Chris! Great video with lots of amazing sounding perfumes. On a side note, I love the way you pronounce your T's (fruity, pretty, bitter). Such a beautiful way of speaking :)
Celeste is definitely my jam. I loved it more than bora in my discover set. ❤ bianco oro is nice i get sooo much pepper but the dry down is like a spicy bianco latte.
Yes, please do a house review of GdT, and also of Private Mood, if you have time. I’m crazy about Bianco Latte, and I like Bora Bora. I’m really interested in their other scents. Speaking of bread, have you tried L’Artisan’s Bois Farine? It’s not baked bread but more of a cross between cream of wheat and bread dough. I was talked out of buying a bottle a decade ago by an SA who thought it smelled weird. 😂 Since I am in touch with my inner weirdo, I finally bought a bottle of Bois Farine this year. The opening is off putting, to me, but the drydown is as I remembered. Cream of wheat, doughy goodness.
Hey Chris!❤ I love your ideas, especially Celeste, however I need some advice from your expertise knowledge! I am trying to find a signature scent, well, actually two, one for summer and other for winter but I am totally overwhelmed and not sure what to do! I have almost zero access to a perfume specialist because where I live there is no niche shops at all so here I am almost doing a crazy blind buy 🙄. However before I break the bank, Id like some advise from you and from anyone who can help me... I would like something unique, elegant, that doesn't make smell like dessert (please, no!!!), or a candy shop. I have in mind a few ideas: By Xerjoff Dama Bianca, Apollonia, Accento Overdose, Ivory Route, and Boadicea Glorious, what you think? And anyone is more than welcome to add their input as well! Much love 🥰
Some interesting new fragrances! I love all your content and always learn something. I’m looking forward to more vanilla recommendations as an alien has taken me over and I LOVE vanilla in fragrances now. 😂❤️
I have been wanting to get my hands on Celeste ever Anne Lauren talked about it, it sounds so so beautiful!!! Mellow musk sounds pretty, need to check that one out!!❤ I picked up van ecstasyx but havnt smelled van py rum yet, loved van exstasyx though!! Great pick ups!!❤️
I am so excited to see your house overview of Giardini Di Toscana! What an amazing fragrance house! And they are accessible...their prices aren't ridiculous! Especially for the quality you receive. Anyway, I loved this video too- please keep us informed on your new discoveries, always. These types of videos are the most useful..❤
Hello my beautiful friend!! 😍 I almost added Celeste to my latest sample order, but I didn’t.. ☹️ lol ..I think I’ve heard you mention it before? I’ve wanted to try Supermoon as well! ❤I’m here in California watching! 🥰🫶🏻
Ah! That is so nice for you but man really far away! Have you ever been to Utah??!! I like it so much better than California…such a pretty state. But I know you are having a lovely time.
@@ThePerfumeNest I would Love to go to Utah! I love dryer climates 😊☀️ We always used to got to Florida with the kids every spring but I’m not a humidity girl! 😆😅
Hello Chris! Super Moon is a big love for me. It sort of reminds me of CD Rouge Trafalgar, but I love that Super Moon is less expensive and just as beautiful. 😊
I too have a real problem finding a scent that smells like bread. I think it may be my skin chemistry. The only fragrance that worked for me is Buonissimo by Hildegard Soliani. It smells like warm buttered bread or croissants with a cup of coffee. I've got samples coming in the mail of Van Pi Rum & a few others I want to try
Oh that sounds fabulous! There are so many great coffee perfumes I could do without that aspect . But I have tried a handful of her perfumes, looks like I need to keep going
Hi Chris. 😊 Sounds like you found very nice and delicious new fragrances. I always enjoy hearing about people's impressions when I want to find possible new fragrances. Some of my new loves include L'Eau D'Ambre Extrême from l'Atelier des Matières. It has a vintagy coziness about it and seems to last forever. Finally got Ani and 100 Silent Ways. Both are wonderful. ❤
Such interesting fragrances! The Van Py Rhum sounds super nice as does Madera. I have the same problem with caramel vanilla perfumes, I'm very drawn to them as well. Have a wonderful week, Chris! ~Cynthia
Another great video. Fall/Winter is definitely my favorite time for fragrances. My latest purchases were Amouage Overture (woman) and Xerjoff Starlight. I am thrilled with both!
Celeste is stunning I do like it but i find it a tad similar to Guerlains Baiser de russie but i like that much more. the candy violet is like dama bianca but it has an oceanic note which is strange but i still like it from opening to end but the dry down is bianco latte. i had baiser de russie on one arm and celeste on the other and i loved the guerlain way more haha i shouldnt have tested them at the same time celeste is stunning but i wont use a full 100ml bottle. i want to try Berrylicious so im going to get a sample set from Private Mood.
I love your enthusiasm about new scents and how you always stay true to yourself. When you do a rice video I am going to be running to computer ;) I am waiting for Jessica Simpson fancy and Givenchy angel ou demon le secret from fragrance buy and one is a tea cranberry and the other is fruity vanilla and I am pretty excited - both YT made me buy it. I also found out lucky scent has one day's tea scents and I am so tempted but I am going to be good and get samples and not blind buy till I know for sure. The one I really want to try is oolong tea scent but curious about the others as well.
Thanks for the video Chris! As always a joy to watch and dream about parfumes for a while for me. I haven´t tested any of the ones you talked about. You look lovely🌻
I have the sample set for Giardini di Toscana too (and yes they are all wonderful!). My fav purchase lately? Maybe Delta of Venus by Eris (guava fragrance very pretty) or Milky Dragon by Isabelle Larigon (gourmand tea scent) 😀❤️🙏🙏🙏
Hi Chris! 😊I had the opportunity to smell Celeste a while ago while travelling and I bought a sample because I really love violet-forward perfumes. On me, it smells like a sweet violet caramel candy. I have no idea where the caramel comes from, but that's what I get. Thank you for the video! 😘
I always have troubles with certain kinds of peach notes that always smell spoiled or like waste. So harsh but that’s my reality 😅. Epico’s Will be Love smelled like milk vomit mixed with TF Bitter Peach, when it doesn’t smell like candy, to me. I gagged too much powering through it on my skin for it to end up linear on me and not get better 😂. Rancid milky peach is all I could get. I could even smell it from my small trash can where I dumped my decant, every time I passed it. It’s not beast mode but it’s definitely not intimate, so I had to move it to the big garbage bag so it can get thrown out sooner 😭
@@ThePerfumeNest Yes, I was curious abou Bianco latte and I was surprised that I like 4 out of the set. Usually there is one love. Trying to narrow it down to 2 to buy
Chris, as usual, another wonderful video from you. I have a very large perfume collection but during this past year I have had to refrain from buying anything new. However, some of the perfumes you mentioned in this video have really piqued my interest. Perhaps I will get samples of them as I know I will not be buying any full bottles any time soon due to all of the household repairs I need to make. Thanks for the video. I always enjoy them.
Aw thank you Phyllis!!! Yes if I didn’t have a channel and IG account I and most creators here wouldn’t have all the perfumes we have. And I have lots of samples that I enjoy tons. And put in my purse or take on vacation and sometimes that is plenty for me. But thank you so much for stopping by!!
Love discovering new perfumes, I will give Celeste and Mellow Musk a try :-) Need to revisit my Madera sample, I don't recall loving it and actually did shock me b/c it's the kinda scent/notes I gravitate towards...and yay for powdery perfumes video coming up! 😘😘😘
Oh, I am glad you like Harvest Mouse! It’s still my fave vanilla release this year. I get the yeast bread dough & vanilla as well in the dry down. I can join your search for the perfect bread scent 😄 PS: Fior di Panne description made me giggle
Hey Chris, didn't know you were looking for a bread perfume. Wish i could say i knew one but alas. Lira personally always pulled bready on me, but i suspect you've tried it and got all the orangey cakey vibes from it. I haven't pulled for Harvest Mouse yet this year, still too warm here in UK, and those herbal elements are too punchy for this weather. I personally don't get a bread vibe from it however, it usually reminds me of Golden Graham's or Butter Beer 😂
Have you ever tried Hilde Soliani’s fragrances? She has some delicious bread-esque scents. Check her out if you haven’t explored her scents. Madera and white Madera are both amazing. I have loved them for yrs. Different in the opening. I love cristallo di Rocca by Omnia as well.
I bought Will be love on vacation recently. I tested both Will be love and Vani Noire and now I regret and did not pick Vani Noire too… Will be love is creamy and sweet on me. I am a little sad it does not work for you. Another proof fragrances can be so different depending on the climate and skin.
@@ThePerfumeNest lol I stopped buying that much. I have to pass some expensive exams and improve myself. Spent on it a small fortune, a new car down payment.
I have been tempted to purchase Harvest Mouse and don’t mind confessing to you the bottle is half the allure. I love the smell at first but after a while I get a little bored with it…but I still like it. Maybe another sample is in order before I make a decision 🤔 I can’t remember, did you review L’eau Papier from Diptyque? I know you’re a huge rice fan so I’m curious to know your thoughts.
@@ThePerfumeNest I love L’eau Papier too! When D.S. & Durga released Steamed Rainbow I grabbed a sample but was disappointed. It wasn’t anything like I imagined. When I got a sample of L’eau Papier I immediately fell in love with that steamed rice accord. It’s what I hoped Steamed Rainbow would smell like. It’s such a creative offering and I was super happy my craving for the smell of steam was satisfied ☺️
have you ever got ur hands on jeux de peau from serge lutens? ive heard its a bread forward perfume but serge lutens pulled out of the US before i got into perfume and its so hard to find.
I’ve been trying for years and I’ve been stalking that huge bell jar from the website even though I’ve never smelled it. I’m doing almost no blind buys these last 6 months …which is the only thing holding me back. But it might just be my Christmas present to myself
Hi Chris! I have to ask how you even hear if there brands? I have been collecting perfumes for a couple of years now and half well over 100 and most of the brands you talk about here I have never heard of where do you find them at and how do you learn of them I guess it’s a better question. Thanks.
Well….😂😂I think if they are looking for a super milky sweet fruity coconut dessert…then no. It pulls so savory on me. I suspect it will on others as well. 😉
