Hello everyone! My name is Christine (my friends call me Chris). I have been a fragrance enthusiast since I was 8 and spent my first allowance on a small sample set of perfumes (Chanel #5 being one of them.....ha,ha!). I started my channel to share my passion with other fragrance lovers! I have no formal training and don't take myself too seriously. I want my channel to be a fun place to retreat to and hopefully you find it time well spent! :) My favorite part of this BY FAR is interacting with and "meeting" the new people who reach out to me in the comments section.
This is an amazing review. I just received this today and I love this scent. I thought the floral was gardenia but it’s tuberose. I also get the lavender and pepper to balance the tuberose. It also has an airy essence. Simply beautiful
Hey Chris: Cannot believe it has been three months since you did this coconut video but I have to bring you an update. Since this was aired, I have two of the fragrances you mentioned....Gioiosa (18ml) and full size Coco Alla Vaniglia. Such beautiful scents! Half way thru the Coco Alla Vaniglia and done with the 18ml of the Gioiosa. Going to order the full size of the Gioiosa this week....do you think this would pair well with HOS Hufflepuff? I will pick up Hufflepuff soon but wanted your thoughts on combining these. Wish I could get my hands on the Italian fragrance...sounds divine! Thanks for this fun and informative video on coconut.........my new fav scent for Summer! :) Do you have thoughts on Note Vanillee from M. Micallef? That sounds tempting as well. :) What does it smell like in comparison to those here on this video? Thanks a million!
Oh hey Donna! You picked up two of my absolute favorites!!!!!!! Hufflepuff is divine: I think it and Giosia are so pretty individually I have never paired them. But I’m sure it’s fab! Noteé Vanille is very boozy: it’s a boozy vanilla with background florals. Very pretty.
Hi Chris! Thanks for sharing your new perfumes. I always love getting inspiration for new scents. The only new release I purchased this summer was Khair Pistachio which I love. Mostly I've been buying older perfumes that are new to me. I really want to try Sarah Jessica Parker's A Lovely Summer but am not willing to pay the ridiculous shipping she charges on her website. Love Dyad Candle perfume oils! Love Highs and Lows! It’s what I wear when I want a skin scent and don’t really want to wear a perfume.😊❤ BTW Chloe Nomad is magic in the heat!!!
@@ThePerfumeNest I’m an interior designer and one of my clients had it on. I said do her “oh my goodness you smell so nice!” Asked her what she was wearing and that’s what it was. Looked up the brand on RU-vid and saw Dyad Candle was created by two twin sisters and they talked about their brand. I love a brand with an interesting story! Love the scent! Looking forward to ordering more from Dyad Candle! 🥰
Loved this video! I have been very impressed with some of this years summer releases - But, I am a Fall/Winter fragrance gal and I am just trying to get through this month and on to September...LOL!!! LOVE Pear Gelato! I've already used up my bottle! Definitely need to try the rest of the line now! Have you tried Obvious Une Pistache or Obvious Un Été? Wild Bluebell is on my wishlist for a full size bottle. I have a 9 ml of it and love it. There’s is always space for scents that are luxuriously clean but won’t choke out the entire room. Jo Malone does this understatement beautifully.
Hi Chris. I dug out an old galleried silver tray, polished it, and have started my first perfume tray. I’ll see how that idea goes. It looks elegant even if I don’t stick to it😄 I’m on the lookout for some light fragrances for my daughter, and your latest videos are giving me lots of ideas. I gave her Chance Eau Tendre which she likes, but wants something even lighter, so No. 5 l’eau or Eau Fraiche might be her Christmas present😃🇦🇺

Hey Chris! Siracusa is amazing and agree with you - unique! A summer sort-of-tropical floral that is fresh and green 🌱🍋 and very slightly gourmand. It’s one of my new favorites this summer and easy to wear which I appreciate. As a big fan of City Rhythm, I need to get my nose on Puerto Rico 😉

I’m intrigued by Cherry Hook. My husband came home with some popsicles that have chili powder in them (he didn’t realize when he bought them) and I kinda love them. Haven’t tried a Navitus perfume yet so that would be my preferred option. Second fave would be Outer Banks - where we vacationed this year!

I gave Carioca heart many wears and finally accepted the fact that it is not for me. I ordered the sample set of the one containing tagomago and sprayed it once but now letting it mature before I do a full body wear. Hoping it works out
If you like the fruits and amberwood it should be successful: if either of those notes don’t work it will probably be a flop. The Tra Temptation I didn’t like the opening but the dry down is gorgeous.
I tried both of their Miami fragrances and did not have any luck with City Rhythm! There's something they put in their fragrances that turns like detergent on me and I have to scrub them off. So 😥sad
Thank you for your feedback! I’m glad they offer tiny sample sizes and travel sprays for this reason alone. There was really no excuse for me to blind buy a full bottle but I was convinced I’d love it. Fortunately I do
