Btw YuB, if you aren’t already, use DFJK! D is Left, F is middle left, J is middle right, K is right! Helps make the game waaaaaaayyyyyyyy easier! And I personally use down scroll while playing, makes the notes easier to see. 😊You prob ain’t gonna see this, but I’ll feel stupid if I delete it.

This is just a recommendation as it’s what helped me massively getting used to DDR games, but I struggle a lot with upscroll and I really didn’t like the keybinds for the arrow as it felt like it cramped my fingers together, but I switched to downscroll as I find it much easier to read what’s happening! I also used the controls: A: Left S: Down K: Up L: Right Controls similar to this can feel much more comfortable and helped me maintain focus as it become muscle memory quickly! Just something to note if you feel like you get hand cramps or struggle maintaining focus as I also have ADHD :).

Hey YuB, little tip for if you do bust out the Guitar Hero guitar again, try switching to downscroll in the options! That will make the notes fall down instead of up so it will feel even more like playing Guitar Hero which might work better for you!

If you find the guitar hero controller easier you should try to edit your controls to something like “H, J, K, L,” or something or other for one hand. I like to use “A, S” with the left hand and “K, L” in the right hand when I play. Hope this helps!

dude, i’m not sure if you’ll see this and that’s cool, but your content has been a part of my life for genuine years now, i remember asking you to shout out my friend back when i was a little kid and coming into school the next day excited as hell to show her because you actually did. Now i’m set to finish my exams and graduate school in about 2 months, and i still find your videos to be such a comfort. never change man! love your vids always!

I personally found the last song really difficult because you're hitting the notes to the drum beats, but some of the drum beats don't have notes attached to them (because that's when Darnell is punching and you don't play as him) so I kept trying to hit notes that don't exist.

Yo, if you upload a second video on Fnf trying the new difficulties I have a couple of suggestions This one is kinda obvious already but there’s actually two new difficulties for a majority of the songs in freeplay, the two new difficulties being Erect and Night. Erect is tough already, but I can’t lie the songs are bangers. But Erect actually has less notes than they sing like normal mode, it’s just hard to tell. Erect mode is kind of like the Normal difficulty of Night difficulty if that makes any sense. If you want to practice the game to improve, I have some recommendations for controls to try. They take a little while to get used to but trust me when I say it’ll be sooo much easier than playing with one hand. Try setting your controls to DFJK (D: Left, F: Up, J: Down, K: Right). Then try settling your left middle finger on D, your left index finger on F, your right index finger on J, and finally your right middle finger on K. You can experiment with many other controls too with the same finger layout like ASKL or maybe even QWOP. Anyway sorry for the yap session lol. I’m not sure if you’ll see this, but if you do I hope these tips help you as much as they’ve helped me. :)

yub a quick tip i think you might be able to change keybinds in the options tab in the beginning where you select storymode, freeplay, credits, or options

I recommend changing your keybinds (if you haven't already) to left = z, down = x, up = comma (,) and right = period (.) It helps me because two keys per hand idk just something to try :)

by the way, ive noticed that the newgrounds web version is very hard to play with because the notes dont line up with when i press even with offset, so i would recommend downloading the itch version, but maybe thats just my game

Little thing i wanted to mention there is a practice mode so if you keep failing and just want to get to the next song you can turn it on and you wont die, also if you wana to change the difficulty theres an option to do that without leaving the sing Idk if you any of that but i just gotta mention it

Fun fact: that one hard section in 2Hot uses the same rhythm pattern from the one section of MILF that had everyone stumped when the game was still new

They also updated and redid the story mode in Scratchin' Melodii, the first two songs got redone too and there are 2 new ones! You should check it out!!

If it makes you feel any better, there isn't much of a difference between easy, normal, and hard for blazin. There are minimal not changes and the only big change is the speed at which notes flow on the screen.
