In this video, we assemble our new Roots & Harvest Fruit Press from Blaine's Farm & Fleet ($299.99). After we assemble, we head to the yard to pick our wild apple trees to be pressed at a later date. In a future video, we will show the press in action with the apples we collected! Make sure you are subscribed so you can stay up to date with our progress.

Your apple tree in your yard looks awesome! One day I would love to have one that big in our back yard! -Cara

Thanks for the comment Cara! We love these large apple trees; unfortunately, some only fruit every other year so we really have to take advantage when we can. Do you have any fruit trees currently?

@@CideryFromScratch That’s awesome to have even if it is every other year. We are planning on getting some this weekend actually 😊😊

Looked like a healthy harvest. I’m interested to see the apple press in action. What will do with the leftover apple 🍎 pieces?

We plan on composting the remaining apple must for the garden :) when we upscale, we might donate it to local farms in the area

Nothing better than picking fresh apples, next purchase a telescopic apple picker or at least a hard hat for Rachel

Hi folks, great minds think alike, just got my small 10lt press out last week. I freeze and thaw my fruit, really helps release the juice, don’t know if it works on apples. Cheers

We are very excited for the fresh pressed juice! Thanks for the tip Peter, we had heard about chilling the apples but not freezing. We will have to do some research and give it a try.
