in this video we will be changing the fuel filter on the ford ka. although this didn't resolve the issue that we had been having, it was due a change anyway and was a quick and easy job. hopefully it helps a few of you.
Hey mate, thanks again for your other video about fixing opening the door from the inside. Bought a new hook and cable and fixed the problem. But another problem has arisen...my car locks divers door,boot with fob and key but not my passenger side. I've tried locking it using the lock button in the car and still doesn't lock. I've researched how to reset your central locking and testing that later, another thing could be the wiring, could have a broken wire. Do you know where/what the wiring is called or have any other solutions what could solve/cause the problem. Mr car is a 2013 limited edition vauxhall corsa
Hiya mate I'm glad it helped. Mine often only opens the drivers door when I press once and all the others if I press twice. If the actual key on the passenger side doesn't work than you are probably looking at a broken key hole/ locking mechanism. If its the fob there may be settings that you can adjust. I believe its p5. I did a video a whole ago called something like corsa d hidden settings or something and its on there how to adjust. I'm unsure what the wiring would be called sorry but it may be worth checking. When you open the door there is a rubber gator down the side of the door. This can just be pulled back with a bit of force to release the wires. Sometimes this gets squished after a while of closing doors so I have heard it to damage the wiring. Hope this helps mate.
I changed the fuel pump after a breakdown and recovery. Symptom was intermittant starting but the easy tell is not going up a hill very well. Bit of a task as it's in the petrol tank. Replaced a lot on mine as it's quite enjoyable to preserve a car. Also broke down with the water system !
