Just fixed this on the wifes corsa, only snag was when crimping the hook its so soft it snapped😂, fixed it with electrical connector. Thanks for the video.🎉
👍…these are in the hand book … I had a 58 Reg it had awesome indicator stork’s, working spot on… now Vauxhall are Peageot Citroen they back to 60’s design..!
Just came across this the reason you change the fluid its hygroscopic it soaks up moisture, to much moisture means the fluid can work as intended. when bleeding the brakes you start at the rear furthest from master cylinder, then the other rear, front furthest again then final one. Ie your master cylinder is on the right hand side so its rear left, rear right, front left, front right. Use a turkey baster to empty the old stuff out but leave some in never have the bottle empty.
This is a pretty common fault with the Corsa. Mines has stopped working at setting 4, and this is the 3rd time it has gone over the years. The 2nd time the mechanic did need to fit a new loom.
There is some "paint" paper on temu which comes like a woody theme and sticks. Its like wallpaper. Do you recommend me do that instead of painting because I have absolutely no experience in painting and I don't even have the tools for it. With the wallpaper thing I can just get it and take those off and put it then knife it in the way which cover everything.
Truthfully the painting side is easy. I have wrapped a few things now and can confirm it is a lot harder then painting. And you always have a few tricky bubbles in it
There is 2 different cables to the lock. One going to the outside and one to the in. It's rare that the door won't open from atleast one side (in/ out).
Great video, very helpful. Thank you. Just a quick question: will it work by just fitting the pieces as they came originally (without zigzag) and using the glue?.
I know this was a while ago but just found your channel. I spliced into the cig lighter and it works but isnt saving date and time. What have i done wrong?
@BrakesWheelsAutomobiles hey man, I did some digging and apparently the yellow and red wire in the iso adapter were the wrong way around. So... I spliced the red (which connects to cig lighter) with the yellow and the yellow with the red and boss!!! Settings saved! Reverse camera came today and I'm gonna install it thanks to your vids brother!! Thank you so much 😊 🤜🤛🤝
I turned on P1, lights on when unlocked, but I have to press the key once to unlock the car then press it again to turn on the lights. Do you know why is that?
hello there, i`ve a another question regarding the ventilation aftermarket knobs you have in the video where you change the lights behind the climate control unit to white LED, where did you buy those, I can only find one on TEMU for Ford pls send help, fellow D corsa driver
I was just thinking that if you did manage it yourself that would be quite badass, right at the moment where you said you phoned a friend:) No shame in that. It's impossibly small in there and then on jack stands trying to line everything up is a struggle and a half :)
Hi there im looking for some advise please, my daughter has a 2011 vauxhall corsa D the issue she has is the passenger door wont lock via keyfob or key, the driver and boot doors work as they should, When you press the door lock on the dashboard the driver and boot lock but not the passenger door, do you have any idea what might be at fault? Thanks Neil
Great tip mate, thanks for sharing. My sons is forever falling out but I didn’t realise it was a common problem until I came across your video. Will give this a go 👍
A nice video and well explained. Just wondering if it would have been possible to remove the front wheel and wheel arch lining and work from behind to save removing the bumper?
Hello, greetings to you from Turkey. I also have a 2012 model Corsa car. Also, like you, I'm taking a video of the applications I did to my car and sharing it in case it might be useful to someone. Since 2015, I have made and shared many additions to my car, including the headlight rain sensor. I also changed the color of my car's dashboard lighting. For example, there is no sample of my Android Multimedia screen replacement application. But none of my videos have been watched as much as yours 🤭🤭🤭 Congratulations ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1JgaWbgRyX8.htmlsi=3QbtRF3_RGUsOCZl
I can't say iv ever looked at the back doors but I imagine it will be the exact same concept. Does it not open inside or out? As it's two different parts of the mechanism so usually one side will open up
That explains a lot. Thanks. I was wondering why my son's key unlocks all the doors when mine doesn't and also that when he's driving the doors automatically lock whereas it didn't when I was driving... Mystery solved. Holding the door unlock and door lock button down is something I've learnt too. Thanks for the tips and tricks.
Hey mate, your video is titled "car door won't open" you have just done a demo with the car door open, can you now show how to do it with the door closed.
