Thanks guys for another cracking video, was great how you combined shooting with the Fx's, instead of just a review of them, stay safe Cheers to ya all
Now THAT is cool! Next thing you know the gun will make you coffee and take you along for some shooting time all you gotta do is sit pretty. Great video guys, loved the intro!
I have to ask you a question, I have the Maverick on backorder and now the new impact is out. I did contact the seller, in which he agreed to upgrade me to the impact, if I should choose so. I understand it’s my decision but I feel the impact with the new upgrades would be a better choice, your thoughts? Tom thomascampanale@yahoo.com
@@tomcampanale8176 thats a tough one buddy. I guess the real question to ask yourself is first. budget. our mavericks are simply amazing. we absolutely love them. second is does magazine capacity matter to you. with the maverick your mag holds 13 rounds with the impact it holds 23 rounds. this is in 30cal of course. Keith just set a world record we believe with his maverick killing a pigeon at 356 yards. but he has also killed 2 woodchucks at 355 with his impact mk2. so the power is there with both. the accuracy is there with both. they both have 2 regulators. so if you want to save money and don't care about the larger magazine then the maverick is for you. but if you want the big magazine with the quick tuning capabilities and the extra money doesn't really matter then this mk3 is for you. me personally. I would get both. oh wait I have both. lol
@@normanshanley7417 thank you, well the tuning adjustments, are what appealed to me, no tools . For example you tells me your settings and I simply mimic yours and gun is mirrored to yours. It would seem to be a lot easier, I’ve never tuned a FX airgun, so I’m clueless ... thanks so very much.... I’ll keep in touch Tom
I just threw a bunch of support your way, this morning. Shout out to Landry at UA. Been watching and researching for a while and “pulled the trigger” today. Good to see you three still having fun. Thanks for all the insight.......doo doo dee dee doo dee “Perfect, perfect” HA! Love it!
It’s a great day to be an air gunner! Great video and info guys. A buddy of mine from Missouri will be in your area soon. He’s hoping to meet you and purchase some of your bottled goods. 🥃 Thanks guys. Take care.
Matt Dubber said in his video today that there's a new 300 bar bottle coming within the next moth too. Pretty cool. I'm most interested in the barrel shroud that allows tuning for harmonics for my MK II.
Yessir. That is what i am most interested in as well. Literally dying to have one. I cant wait till its ready. Refining is almost complete and away we go!
I always like the slow motion footage at the end of the video , I for one am looking forward to what your going to do with the new FX M3 Impacts in the future videos . Keep up the good work .
Thanks dale! Your slugs shot amazing out of this gun. I have the footage it was just dark and dreary that day so the scopecam was poor. But if anyone asks you if they will shoot out of the m3. Omg yes they will Awesome as always buddy
Keith is the off hand sniper!!! Got mine yesterday from High Pressure Pneumatics in northern Michigan...got the 600mm in .22! Can't wait to get out this week and tune it up with some hybrids!!! Crazy add ons coming can't wait for the next video...great shooting everyone and good to see Steve back in the pack!!! Lol James from Michigan
@@creed3658 In Harrison right on hwy 61 just west of town a few miles! He sold out of M3s yesterday first thing in the morning...lol But has more coming soon along with some Maverick's!! His name is Tom and a great guy with a nice set up little shop!!!
Another great video guys, a great insight to the new M3. Very impressive performance for the stock 30 Norm was using. What pellet was used by Norm in this video and for the 300 + yard woodchuck? Thanks for sharing, all the best from across the pond.
Pretty nice improvements on the rifles and they were smacking the birds with authority. I say a video today that Roulf and his wife did where he made a barrel band stabilizer to take the barrel droop out when he was using the Donnyfl moderator because of the weight.
Nice work- my M3 is in order with a titan on board ! Question: what do you use to paint your slugs for visibility? Any special setup or just an old mouse pad?
Yeah norm and steve print out these paint trays that we use. They are amazing. You can see them on edgun leshiys channel as well. If you want one just email norm at fieldproloaders@gmail.com
Looks like super nice rifle with great added features as well. That being said I believe you all could use pop guns and make it look easy. The gun is a big part but without a great shooter behind it it’s just a gun. To achieve the guns greatness you have to have a great shooter on the trigger you guys fill that bill no problem.
A DAY LATE!!!!!......but always worth it!! 😁 Soooooooo worth it . Got some shredded and breaded tweet there. All is good. Good to see Steve with you guys. Awesome intro, sweet gun, and as always excellent shooting. As soon as I kick this crap I’m putting my new compressor to work. 😈
Great video and shooting as always!! Good to see Steve back too! Question, did the M3 with the slug power kit and lower reg pressures get more shots per fill than the other?
Billy we need to test them over the chrono against each other. we should have already but our time has been limited and we will be going deeper as the videos come i promise!
You guys seem to be really dug in on the .30 anymore over the .25. Is it worth the extra ammo cost in your opinion? I have been enjoying the .25 in my WC MKIII but maybe it's time to step up in .30 for an Impact MKIII? Looking forward to more tuning information on this and accessories as time goes on.
we really do love the 30 i think it's worth it if you want to shoot long in wind like we usually do. but for 150 yards and in I would say save the ammo money
PCPs have certainly come a long long way from what they once were. Airguns are definitely not Ralphie's Red Ryder anymore. I love it, however more cities and towns are drafting ordinances to outlaw discharge of these airguns in city limits as if they are firearms, even though we all know they are not and its apples and oranges trying to compare the two. Mabey you guys can make a video explaining to the uneducated out there why they are not firearms and just how different the two are in terms of power and speed of the projectile. Love the channel as always guys. Cheers
@@normanshanley7417 no problem if they work fine if not no big deal. My shooting buddy has been talking about the M3 all day lol. Not sure if he is trying to talk himself into or out of buying one.
Yes, Thank you.. I was using it with Airgunner bob to shoot woodchucks, I'm thinking of attaching a string or something so I can wear it around my neck
@@AirgunEvolution glad it actually worked hopefully you can get it on camera. The groove on it is for a lanyard so it's easy to use like your range finder. And no need to say who it came from if you do get it on camera that's not why I sent them just wanted you guys to have them.
Would you guys recommend the Sumo or Ronin for a .25 cal? I love how your guns sound (and look), but curious if the sumo would sound the same from a .25 The thickness of the Ronin is so nice!!
@@68Whiskey Thank u so much for your reply buddy. Everyone says the Sumo, all the forums and YT vids, but that Ronin looks so nice!! On a 500mm barrel it might be overkill. If I ever get a .35 caliber, 700mm barrel ill get the Ronin.....for now I'll stick with the Sumo. Thanks again
Hey is the slug power kit available for the m3 .30cal, I just got mine from Utah Air, and they said it wasn't available yet. Their test results were that it shot slower speeds. It seems to be working ok for you.
Like norm said. Should be a couple of weeks and all will be further than we are now. But it shoots amazing as is to be honest, bot sure the power kit is needed unless going really heavy
Love the content fellas!! Had a question on the slug kit....Did you use both the hammer "shims" when you installed yours? Also, do you see the valve adjuster still working to lower the power with it installed? On a couple MK2 I installed it in I noticed the valve adjuster pretty much did nothing after installing the kit and was wondering if on the M3 that was still the case? Stay safe.... Dr. Mike Long
Hey mike. Good questions. Yes we used both shims. And the valve adjuster still works startlingly well. I can drop the velocity a ton with it. I have an mkii that acts just like u describe. But different ballgame here
This where my FX Streamline. 22 comes into it's own, when you went inside the cattle sheds, you don't need FPE and a big slug, turn down my Streamline to power setting to 2 and use a 16gr/Hades or less pellet, never going to be shooting over 40 yards and less chance of pellet passing threw and damaging roof, siding.
Keith can you pleas help me out? I got a question about your tune in the vid. I got the m3 30cal 700mm with the huma reg, huma dual transfer port with a pin probe and 2 washers like you said on the hammer. Do i up the reg on max hammer till i got 960fps? OR do i up the reg till 980 en decrease the hammer to get 960? With the mk2 we decreased 20fps with the valve adjuster. How do you tune it on the m3? Thanks! Hope you can help me out😉😘
Great stuff. What's next from FX, a side by side with removable mounted slug lined rifles with a rack for air tanks and ammo boxes on the back, another plenum coming off the tanks, and turns into a hovercraft to travel over land and water, and a small plane with onboard autopilot for steadier shooting, and some more shit?
I’d rather any product offer attributes I could live without than not offer attributes I desperately wanted. I live by the old adage……. I’d rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Keep up the good work FX. There is PLENTY of choices out there for people who can’t/won’t spend high dollar on a PCP.
You guys using the superior heavy liner or the superior liner that comes with the rifle? If so what's the heaviest slug you shooting in the superior liner?
I would love to have one and would have one if I had the need for the shots you do I have 140 yd max before the heavy trees, now that all the new air rifles are out I was able to get the parts to upgrade my impact mk2 with the superior liner & power plenum .22 set at 120 bar it is pushing the jsb jumbo heavys at 1060 pinpoint accuracy @100yd putting them in groups the size of a us penny looking forward to finding what slugs it will shoot best
On Norms gun you said he doesn't have the slug kit. My question is does he have a slug liner and the barrel turned to the slug port? I was going to experiment with slugs this week as stock set up on my 25 impact. Thanks for the tips.
That’s some good shooting guys! The M3 has me very interested and impressed lol talked to the guys from Utah airguns looking to be trading my .30 compact for the .30 sniper soon!
@@68Whiskey yes I noticed you mentioned that in the video. Maybe I should finish watching before asking questions. I guess expensive but they can be used in power burners too? Just like element the scope I noticed you used in one of your hunting videos using a AR 15. Cheers!!
I believe it does but Im not 100% sure the 35 can be converted all the way down to small calibers so it would make sense for them to all have the same internals
Great video! Good to see Steve back with the crew. This M3 looks to be the Bees Knees. Like a Maverick with more bells and whistles. That being said...if one had to scrape and scrounge to afford a Maverick with a Titan on top....would it be worth selling a few more Top of the line break barrels to acquire the M3? Would you get in .30 or .35 for long-range woodchucks? Did you get these from Utah and if so did they set them up per your request or did Norm work his magic? You boys can shoot! I love how one spots while the other shoots to dial in the windage. I used to think myself a good off-hand shot prior to injuries. I won many local turkey shoots, shooting milk jugs with a smoothbore Rem 1100 shotgun at 100+yds both in scoped and open sight classes. At my best, I don't think I could hold a candle to Keith! Great shooting all around...Kudos! All the best from Wyoming County New York(the western side of Letchworth)...The Bigman
thanks so much buddy. I guess my answer would be yes. if you could sell a couple of your break barrels to get the m3 its a no brainer to me. that being said if you already have the maverick and you like your break barrels you really don't need to get rid of them
I agree with Norm you can’t go wrong with either gun but the accessories that are coming out for the M3 make it very attractive. And I would vote for 30 caliber for woodchucks just because there are so many available slugs. Thank you for the kind words my friend!
@@normanshanley7417 I have the money for the Mav but been waiting to pull the trigger...pun intended. My reluctance was I figured FX would come out with a M-3 type gun. With our weather here in WNY I couldn't shoot it anyway. Was there a lot to setting up the M-3 for the way y'all shoot them? Or do they offer that service at say UItah ag? Is it more the setting up your optics? Break barrels are more of a collection thing, so a dozen won't be missed...lol I see y'all mostly using Element optics. Is it worth twice the money for the Nexus or is the Titan all you really need? What mounts and other accessories do you suggest? Thanks for all the info and great videos y'all put out. The Bigman
@@ronaldyetzer6313 hey brother. so you can have utah Air tune your gun for whatever you want to shoot out of it. the real good thing about this m3 is I can send you my setting for what im shooting and you can just make your settings the same. as far as element optics. we love them. Keith and I have all their models and to be honest we both love the titan the best
Your english is great! And you add it as an accessory. But if you get it from a good dealer like utah airguns you can ask them to install it for you before they ship it out. Its only like $40 extra for the kit
What is the name of that extra piece that the bi-pod is secured to ( right below the air tank ) does it come with the rifle or do i need to buy it separate .
