„If you don’t try, you can‘t fail“ - The more I experiment in the garden and attempt new farm projects, the more failures occur along the way. Which is very normal. Frustrating obviously. But normal. And it is a great lesson to appreciate the learning curve 💪🏻
After the winter season this garden was in need of a big makeover 🌱💚 After trimming the weeds, we attempted the „no-dig“ method for the first time. With some challenges along the way 😅 See for yourself and watch the garden transform step by step!
Enjoy 🙋🏼‍♀️

I have horses so have lots of hay. But the only safe way to use it is to leave it outside over winter to rot down and then use it on your beds in spring. I think your hay must have been very fresh for it to sprout like that. I am in New Zealand. Straw is quite expensive here. You could use your hay for next season.

Use STRAW ( wheat shafts) NEVER hay in gardens.

Seed potatoes can be cut with a disenfected knife into two or 3 pieces leaving only 1 to three eyelets before planting. You get double or triple production for your money. Just a tip. And, yellow gold are resistant to black fungus.
