I love this! I’ve bought gel pens for years because I’m a pen fanatic, and don’t even color, but I HATE getting a skippy or scratchy pen! Now, I know that I can check with what you’ve tried. THANK YOU!
They now sell sparkle pops open stock on Blick online . I was so happy to find out since I always use my gold and silver first. I think they had the milky pop also.
Zebra has always been hit or miss with me. But when they hit the do become A favorite. So I'm very interested in the pencils. I do appreciate you work.
I have realised after watching your video that the Doodlerz pens are the same as our Anko brand pens that we buy here in Australia at K-Mart which is probably like your Walmart. The colours are identical in each range ie metallics glitter etc
Hi Jennifer and Steve I was glad to see these pens reviewed as I’d recently purchased them and had tried them out so was a little scared when I saw you trying them out I have to say I think you had a bad batch as all mine work very well no air bubbles ect so I’d send em back and try to replace them Thanks again keep up the good work guys xx
I love these gel pens I often buy them in a pack of 10 from supermarkets! Ive always found them to be better than any other gel pens! I’ve just ordered the 60 so hoping mine ok.
To get past a bubble I just remove the ink stick from the plastic outer part of the pen and blow into the top while simultaneously pressing the ball point into a piece of paper until the air is all released.
I really wish I’d stumbled across your video before I enthusiastically bought the 10-pack doodlerz glitter pens from my local supermarket. I thought they were a bargain at £5 but when I swatched them out back at home, they were very underwhelming. The mica sparkles seemed to clump in areas of the swatch and have patches of just ink. I’ll keep them though as they are my first ever purchase of glitter gel pens and I need something to compare to when I go for a better brand. Thanks for sharing 🇬🇧
💜💜💜tfs💜💜💜 I had such high hopes for these, I adore Zebra pens... but these, oh no! One of the reasons I love you guys, you don't "kiss up" and tell it how it is! Thank you for that. I think I'd end up throwing these out the window, I colour for pain relief, I think these would exacerbate it not help it! My A$5 Target gels are better, oops, did I say that out loud?
How did you get them from Amazon for 21.31??? I just looked and they’re priced at 34.00 plus 7.00 shipping and 3.00 tax came out to almost $46.00. But now watching your review I may just pass anyways. Lol I love your channel btw! Keep up the fun vids 😀
I saw someone else make a comment about the price increasing recently- they said they bought theirs from Walmart in March for $13 and now they are priced at $22.
Republican 4U2NV Inflation has gotten horrible ever since covid started. I’ve noticed the price of everything is going up, but my social security check isn’t going up! 😣
@@The_Lion_And_The_Lamb I must be lucky then because I am still enjoying the same prices on things I purchase (including $2/gal or cheaper gas!) It's a shame all of the politicians over the last few decades that have stolen from social security "robbing Peter to pay Mary" not to mention all the people that abuse all of our many programs taking away even more $$$ from those that deserve/need them. I will say the biggest thing with many people that retire is that they think social security is meant to be there sole source of income after they retire but that isn't the case. The numbers are based on everyone saving back some money for retirement and SS is meant to "make up the difference" in income from not working.
I carry around a cheap 12 set of gel pens called "yummy yummy scented glitter gel pens" lol, by Ooly brand which are a knock off of sakura gel pens packaging. I shove in a random gold pen since their gold color is just yellow. They are smooth and wonderful, not scented at least to my nose but great for on the go and cheap so its not heartbreaking if i lose them.
I’d give those Zebra pens 1 star. It’s really disappointing because I bought other Zebra pens that work fine. I think that’s design you started will look beautiful when it’s done. I like the way you blended the colors ( too bad the Zebra pens didn’t work. I like that color selection they came with).
I got the glitter doodlerz pack. So dry when first tried. I put them upside down for days, and then they became really moist, to the point I store them sideways now. I had bought Sarasa Clip milky colors at the same time, but there was no saving those dry, skipping pens. Never again. There was a bunch of Zebra I bought and tried at the same time. The metallic blue, green, purple brush pen pack look like silver as they dry (if I wanted silver, I would not have bought colors, those also with tips down). Finally, I tried the fineliners that were advertised on the pack for writing and journaling. They kind of scratch (yes, on smooth paper) but work okay after storing tips down for days. Not the smoothest or highest quality, but I like the plastic to go pack it comes in. I wish there was a law that every pen has on its barrel how to store and what paper to prevent tip fraying. In general, disappointed in Zebra products. I do like the mildliner brushpens. PS-I got the Pentel metallic sunburst, very dry, put those tips down for a while too, disappointing.
I think you got a bad batch. I bought a small glitter set at my grocery store last week and they worked very nice. They wrote very smooth and have no bubbles. My only problem was they were so juicy so I smudged them a little. They have a lot of ink. I colored a lot and the pens were still very full.
I hope you don't mind me playing devil's advocate for a moment, but I wanted to point something out about the "boycott Made in China" movement. On the surface, this movement appears to have noble aims, but merely boycotting Made in China products fails to address the root of the problem, which is labor exploitation all over the world due to the drive to maximize shareholder profits and satisfy global demand for cheap goods. China is an easy target because of the sheer number of Chinese-made products on the market today, but the reality is that labor exploitation is a problem everywhere, including so-called "developed" countries like the US. This is a complicated issue, so I'd suggest reading up on it.
I don't really use gel pens in coloring. I have bought Zebra pens, as at work I do a log and color code. I honestly thought that I would love zebra but I don't like them. The skipping is an issue with their pens. There is a remedy sometimes with pens that get air bubbles you can blow on the insert really hard multiple times and the pens will work and you will have to do it at different times. But that pen has WAY TOO MANY air bubbles to make that work better. Those pens that has the bubbles and the leakage most likely had drastic air pressure changes in shipping. Disappointing!!
I hope this was just a bad set that got bruised on the way. I love Zebra pens. Other than some fine tip ones that I thought were terrible (but I hate fine point so I should have not chosen fine points) I have never had a Zebra pen that did not agree with me.
I have a small set of 10 Zebra Doodler's Glitter pens (I paid a couple of pounds for them). No issues whatsoever .... I think you had a faulty set, so please don't let it put you off them...
I bought these and they skip a lot when using them some colors more than others. I shall try storing them upside down. I’m not real thrilled with them at this point.

I wouldn`t color with gelpens. but I thought I would love to write with them. I think it was in the 90th when I discovert them and bought my favorit colors - 3 pieces. the pink was really nice and the pen worked good. but the touquiseand the kiwi where nice colors but the pens where for the garbag. so I never bought one. it is so sad this material is worse bc the colors are really nice. maybe there was a storm while the where on the ship. therefor the bubbles. it´s also very little ink in the pens which is not nice even for very cheap pens. did you hear from ZEBRA and did they send a new box.ß
I bought this and am returning to Staples! They suck! Just like your's. Not even 1 or 2 but almost everyone of them preformed like they did for you. They cost me 40 bucks! I'm going to get Color it pens instead! I also have tanmit's new 48 in the travel case and they actually are amazing. the 240 Tamnit however...no bueno for me.
I bought these for 26.00 and I 5reasure them.you just need to get them flowing.theyve been upright prob months before you got them and often the protective tip leaves residue on them. The glitter are spectacular. I've just found your chanel so plz send me advice on your pics for heafty long lasting gel,glitter,metallic,and neon.as well as charcoal pencils. I splurged and spent almost $1,000 on pens. And art supplies first time in my life ever and I'm 60 years old. Some a****** came in and stole all of my art supplies every last one of them so I went out and bought these and another jerk came in and Drew ridiculous stupid entire page that bled through all my other pages on them book people have no respect now my pens are dirt and I just don't have much in life do I LOL
Send them back bad batch.really was excited until I seen the bubbles in them I'm mess with the cheep pens from dollar tree and stuff and never seen a batch like that.
