New Gen 3 Ford Raptor Vs Gen 2 Ford Raptor: Let's Settle This Once And For All...Which Is Best? 

I like the headlight on the 2nd but I love the 3rd gen grille looks way better but both look good that coil suspension is awesome

Still can't believe they didn't up the HP and TQ for this Gen. Should have been an extra 50HP and 50TQ at minimum.

There is just something off about the Gen III Raptor and I can't quite call it. Maybe Gen II just spoiled the truck world so much. But it still looks so boss. Like, it looks like IT should be the new upgrade, not the Gen 3. I appreciate the interior enhancements, but even those didn't go far enough. I wouldn't upgrade if I had a Gen 2.

Went to the dealer today with my 2019 Gen 2 to see this Gen 3 in person and decide whether im trading in or not. And I have to say, I just wasn’t nearly as impressed seeing the Gen 3 in person as I was when I saw (and purchased) the Gen 2. Granted driving a Raptor for the past two years has a lot to do with that as we get used to it somewhat. Idk. The front end of the Gen 3 is certainly not as impressive as it’s predecessor. It lost that wide aggressive “grin” and, with the black accents around the headlights and grill, actually looks almost like a regular F150 from the front. Yes, the gauge cluster and center screen are much nicer. The truck shifter also gets an erection when you turn it on (ha). But I just don’t see the tweeks Ford made enough of a reason to trade (yet). I may very well change my mind if and when the v8 comes out although I love the eco boost. They did however remind me how much equity our trucks have. My 2019 has 41k miles and has every option less Recaro Seats and they offered me 65k to trade. Anywho… thanks for the video . Keep at it 🤙🏻

I just bought a 2020 Gen 2 with supercab, last year they were made, such a shame!!!!! 4,600 miles only couldn't pass it up. 802a, carbon, ricaro, everything except sunroof. I had a 2022 lined up but crew cab and 35k more. There all nice but supercab is so much better unless you need to haul people around.

The gen 3 looks better on the exterior and interior, but i think it will look good on the code orange color even better IMO

I like how ford made the gen3 with the grill being connected to the headlights just like the gen1 the gen 2 is nice but I can tell ford was lazy since it looks a lot like a regular f150 with a grill insert

Gen2 looks blockier/more aggressive, but I really like the new Gen3 interior. That being said I won’t be trading my 2020 in on a Gen3 any time soon.

Gen 3 headlights are waaaay worse looking. Also the fog light holders now don’t hold full-size squadron style lights the way the gen 2 does

I love how polarizing the front of both trucks are to people! It’s the way it should be. Otherwise you end up with a Camry and not something special.

The exterior received minor tweaks. The real difference between Gen 2 and Gen 3 is under the skin and the new interior. The brand new rear suspension and 4-mode exhaust are big changes. The only complaint I have heard so far is that the new shifter feels el cheapo.

I actually don't like the Gen 3 vents. They say they remodeled them after the Raptor jet but they look kinda clunky and cheap. I also prefer the entire front of the gen 2. I dislike that the gen 3 took away the tailgate step. Kind of an odd thing to do when it was a feature. I also prefer the smaller side mirrors on the gen 2. The Gen 3 has amazing interior though. I'm actually really sad that the gen 2 doesn't have the folding shifter. Honestly it's the only thing that I'm ticked about haha. I use my laptop a lot from my vehicle and that's such a cool feature to be able to fold your center console down like a desk when you're parked. I also think it sucks that the raptors from gen 2 had tiny screens... It's kind of an odd thing that everything from the 2017 era had big oled screens but the 80k ford pickup trucks didn't... then 2022 came along and they decided it was time to add it.

For the money I'm sorry but Ford still using way too much hard cheaper plastics with their interiors!!!!Dodge Ram blows ford out of the water in this area as far as the rest of the vehicle I would have to take it off-road would of liked to have seen it's off-roading abilities but overall it's just at way too much money for the average person even for people that are in the market for a racing pickup truck it's a challenge!! Would like to see costs come way down and quality way up overall if I had the money would most likely go with racing version of Dodge Ram sorry Ford but only the best tunas get to be a Ram lol!!!!
