Autobahn acceleration RUN & Launch Control with the 2023 Genesis Electrified GV70. Despite being an car also used with combustion cars this now features an all-wheel-drive with two electric motors delivering 490 hp & 700 Nm of torque. The results on the Autobahn are pretty astonishing I would say, 100-200 km/h is very good and not far away from a Tesla Model Y Performance! What do you mean full power for 10 secs. So its not making 490 all the time ?

It's around 430PS in regular sport & comfort mode. But you can press Boost to enable 490 for 10 sec. You can press that button of course as many times as you want, even if you are in eco (it temporarily switches to sport) but if you are below a certain threshold, it will say that boost is no longer available. I don't remember if it's below 30% or 25%.

I want to see boost from start than boost immediately after 10 secs and again until max speed and timed see how it performs. It would be nice to have a mode to do a burn out

Eventuell hätte ein wiederholtes drücken des Boost - Knopfes noch das eine oder andere Zehntel auf 200 gebracht. Fairerweise muss man auch das Gewicht berücksichtigen. Ich denke, der BMW hat auch da einen kleinen Vorteil.

I guess if you go constantly with 220 230 kmh the battery will be empty in 150 km, maybe less

I know that genesis focuses on comfort, but for me looks-wise (for electric cars), I'm just waiting for the Porsche Macan EV. Otherwise Genesis all day long. For some reason, MEB platform or Tesla etc, even the performance editions, are a "lower" category to my mind that the more premium brands. Unless we compare it to and ix3 or so.

100-200 is dogshit, as are the rest of the vehicle dynamics, just like all these electric toasters. They’re not performance cars, just giant jelly beans that can accelerate quickly from a dead stop. The only thing they can cry about in their “performance” ads is 0-100km.
