Testing potterycrafts' smokey blue and green magnetite, mayco's robin's egg and spectrum's cinnamon ripple.
Each tile is labelled using an underglaze pencil so it doesn't disappear when fired. I then paint the tiles so that I can see the difference the number of coats makes between one coats, two coats and three coats. Make sure to let the glaze dry between coats.
Fired to 1205C on potterycrafts raku modelling clay which fires a buff colour.

Cinnamon ripple and robins egg is gorgeous. Loving how the Cinnamon ripple pools

Yes 😊 I really liked both them and the potterycrafts green magnetite. The smokey blue is dark and subtle but I can still see it having a place.

Hi. You can get earthenware glazes that have a lower firing range. Most glaze manufacturers will make both low and high fire glazes you just have find the right ones for you. I order mine online in the UK from potterycrafts.co.uk and potclays.co.uk mainly.
