Elysia and Ryan definitely do the best general reviews of all. Much appreciated is the use of UTC instead of local village time. Thanks from Europe. ❤🇨🇮🇬🇧
The Raptor beside the Raptor 3 in 09:29 in the horizontal test stand seems to have a deformed nozzle/bell. Is it possible that thats an engine from Booster 12 undergoing post-flight testing?
@@SbiriJJRead again,I didnt mention in any part of my main comment that B12's raptors are the Raptor 3 version. You need eyeglasses. Is reading too hard? Also, i didnt refer to the Right test stand raptor as a Raptor 3. I said "the raptor BESIDE the Raptor 3". Im referring to the other rocket engine on the right-side of raptor 3 that NSF was mainly talking about.
Here is a quick reference for Russian words used in space :) Vostok = East Zvezda = Star Soyuz = Union Molniya = Lightning Progress = Progress Mir = Peace (also: World) Saliot = Salute Zarya = Dawn Oryol = Eagle
thanks for covering other space companies and not just spacex. spacex is extremely interesting to watch, but sometimes that means we dont get to see what other space programs are doing.
One idea on how to handle multiple firings on the same test stand would show the time of the first one in a series with a button to toggle a display of each individual test in that series.
Spacecraft I would trust to go into space and return: SpaceX, Russian Soyuz, a 1984 Toyota pickup, a cardboard box, and anything built by Boeing. In that order.
Bit disappointed that only three craft will be used for gravity wave detection. A fourth craft would have 4 triangles for measurements, not just one, and a single sat failure would still leave a single working triangle. I understand that a three leg system is an improvement and uses the same three craft, just...
You misunderstand how gravitational detection works. Its not a triangulation like you would do with radio waves. Instead you have three positions in a large perfect right angle with lasers from the center piece to each arm. Its measuring the wave frequency of these lasers being reflected back to the center piece. When a gravitational wave passes along the space containing one of the lasers it changes the frequency of its return. I would think having more then two arms might help detection of waves from say behind the V or have a similar triangulation purpose like you are saying, but i assume they can do the calculations no matter what angle it comes from since they have used this method on earth and could tell where it came from.
Russia's space program running fumes and there are delays for the new manned spacecraft. As opposed to NASA dumping billions into Boeing's Starliner experiencing delays and possible cancellation.
Elysia Segal, you wear some interesting earrings. Today. I can't tell what they are. I think there are flames, but I can't see whet the craft is. Is there any way you could turn your head to the left, and pull your hair back? Look, I know i am asking a lot, but I only watch this website because of you. You are so pretty, with your eyes of blue, standing 5'2.
