I can’t thank you enough for this video! I let the battery go dead on my 2009 impala and now have the no circle around PRNDM issue. I just bought an MDI and “fingers crossed”, will be reprogramming the transmission control sensor.
Good point made about the lift gate functionality and gear selector indicator. I had to replace the TCM on my Escalade and both those problems were present.

Also question while i’m at it, I’m getting a flashing red light on my bosch master tech ii giving me no communication with the truck but i have good ground on pin 5 and more than 12 volts at pin 16. Any ideas?
Hello, your so wonderful helping everyone’s small questions, I have a 2009 Yukon Denali XL - Replaced Techm with a used working Techm from *Same exact donor vehicle and the techm part numbers are exactly the same (interchangeable), I purchased one slot on the ACDelco website and selected “reprogram” for modules TCM & ECU. All went well.. my vehicle still does NOT START, afterwards I check DTC with my bi-direc scan tool and my Yukon is still displaying the DONOR vehicle’s VIN, I’m aware they need to sync? Is there anyway to read and write or do I have to purchase another Slot and “OVERRIDE” and maybe manually type in donor VIN instead of auto scan my current? Thanks
I have a 14 Silverado work truck with IO4 screen. I replaced the tailgate handle with the one that had a camera, plugged it in. I haven't been able to program the audio to recognize it (sps2). Any idea how I could do this??

My tech line connect gets stuck when I’m asked if I’m ok with using a vin slot and I get en error message that says tool lock not obtained .. have you seen this before?
Check your internet and make sure you have at least have one slot available. If not make sure fire wall, any antivirus system, and windows defender is off. you can also call the tech line for help. They are very helpful.
Good job boss. I have a question... When i will be replace and program a BCM, in the middle of the process i changed the old one for the new one, this process its just for the BCM? Or for any module more?
How do you get it to connect to vehicle? I have pc suite for autel and tech connect download but when I go to scann it says error connecting with gds2 no device found but it comes up in maxi suite
so i have a question.... after you buy a mdi2 device and pay the $45 for the 24 month vin licesnse, is there anything else you have to buy? do you have to buy techline connect or after you pay the $45 for the vin it will let you download it? also if i have ecms i wanted to put the same vin on with the stock calibration on all 3 ecms would it let me do all 3 since it would be same vin written to it? or can you only do 1 ecm per vin?
Yes you can program all three PCMs separately with the same VIN subscription and that subscription will only let you program ECUs but not diagnosis. For diagnosis you would have to purchase yearly subscription which is very close to $4000.
