I know this is an older thread, but I have not had to flash a gm module for quite a while, I went on TDS and bought subscription to one Vin and clicked on view and it took me directly to tech line connect and I started Alvin issues immediately, when I downloaded and then opened it would not take my credentials. I tried many things and nothing worked.. This video solved my issue, I closed out everything and then opened as admin and was able to get get MDI to connect then flash module I need to flash. Thank you for posting this video, I was pulling my hair out. The method described in video was the solution, thanks a bunch
This tech line is a pain to use! I've had the same problem trying to get it to load up and to open. Spent hours getting out of tech line and going back in only to repeat dozens of times before it actually worked! The reprogrammed my BCM in about 30 seconds. I hate using tech line! I have a Vxdiagnano,and had similar problems like your encountering. Thanks for your video.
How did you solve the issue at the 11.40 mark of the video? I'm having same issue no matter what i try. Reinstalled techline download several times but fails at sane point everytime
@@DallasAutoDiag I agree, I complained to Sony about it and they blew me off. I have a cheap audio TX hooked to the TV….but it’s ridiculous you can’t wirelessly use the mic with PS5. Thanks for your help with the programming video. Is mobile module programming what you do down in Dallas?
Thank you , Good Job, That mean the used ECU it will not work with TLC, I have to replace a used airbag module tommorrow, not sure will let me program it? to match the VIN#
You have all the wrght to be confused. You can in some car and you can't in most cases. I believe there is a list to all the global A vehicles (thats what they call the ones that take only new modules l)
I’ve had all kinds of errors also. Sometimes like yours others when programming. Finally got it going so I tried programming the theft module but couldn’t communicate, tried the tcm & pcm and both programmed fine. Tried theft again and still failed so I’m still stuck with a car I can’t start
Thanks for sharing Bro👍 In my part of the world, flashing modules is totally impossible I guess due to location & service's issues, so I use various programmers to read/write or copy Flash & Eeprom data on bench, but the downside is I have to de-solder & solder sensitive chip’s😉 Was it possible to read Flash & Eeprom data on this ECU, with the IM608 & G-box, would be really interesting😉 Stay Safe👍
You have more than 1 USB port on your computer? Could be a USB port issue. I have the cardaq 2 that I’ve had for years it’s always worked. You might of had a defect or something
this laptop has one main usb port which I am using all the time in programing modules. the other 2 are from a docking piece in the back and its not recommended to use them.
If whatever you're trying to program is a used module then it won't with anymore. They blocked it. No wonder why furd has become a better company now lol
Hello, I have a 2012 Chevy Volt with a P0A0C code that won't reset. I'm using the GM GDS2 software and have followed the recommended reset procedure in the service manual. I still have the error code, can you help?
@@jser4822 If you are using GM equipment you should be able to call acdelco customer service and get someone with you on the computer while doing the programming. In my case I am using cardaq 3 plus therefore they did not provide a full support to me.

Did you do that Techline connect, through Chrome, on Windows? You had success doing it on Chrome, rather than internet explorer.?.? I am getting code 9044, which means I am locked out or something.

Thank you for informative video: I am interested to programing my GM vehicle module do to some upgrades. I understand the GM software used to do this is the SPS2 I think this is correct. TO use this app I must first install and subscribe to GM's Techline connect. Am I correct that this subscription is a cost of $4000.
first you have to sing up for free with acdelcotds.com then buy a programming subscription which costs $40 then view your vin list and hit add vin it will open a new tab to launch Techline connect. once you do that it will install tlc if you are using GM VCI (mdi1 or mdi2) then the drivers are already installed with the installation of tlc if you are planing to use another vci (autel, bosch, cardaq etc) then you are gonna have to install the drivers for that vci in order to be recognized as a pass throu device when launching tlc to connect to the vehicle.

@@monteriano1966 Since you are using mdi1 you can always call acdelco and get them to log in to your laptop to see whats the issue. They miggt use the used pcm situation to get away from solving your issue.
@@troyx4078 i also ran into many errors after this video. I decided to by GM mdi2 so i can call acdelco and put them on the phone for as long as it takes to do tge programing properly.
I noticed I can't program used bcm using this shyty app now. Just a little over a year ago I was reprogramming bcm for 2015 and 2016 Cruze and Malibu now I can't do it anymore since this new app came out
How do I login to Tech Line connect? Do I use the same password as on TDS? Did I do something wrong that it asks for a password? Do I have to pay the $4300 Techli e Connect fee? Help!
You launch TLC by loging in to acdelcotds then you view your subscription list and either add a vin or click on an existing vin. You don't pay that amount. Only $45 per vin

@@DallasAutoDiag I was programming BCM 2020 Malibu and almost done then I got this message, I called Acdelco ,the answer was there’s no warranty on the vehicle. I have a friend who has dealer GM account and he did the job. We both have the same tools except the software
I have a Hummer H3 and every time i try to program a BCM I keep getting this code E4491 E4423. I try programming a used and a new BCM. Anyone know why im not able to program it ? Thanks!
I recently had this issue today. A 2007 Hummer H3 tried reprogramming a used BCM kept going all the way to 100% and then the update please wait while everything finishes and then the same error codes. Tried multiple times and kept getting same code. What I noticed with my scanner was that the BCM was left in a Security theft re learn mode. I tried waiting the 10 minutes but it didn’t work. What worked was going through the tech2win software and setting up SDM BCM
@@lmfr11 hello friend I see that you were able to solve the error E4491 and E4423 because I have it with a 2016 camaro with used BCM when reprogramming the ECM module. Do you think that doing the SDM setup in Tech2Win with the used BCM will the reprogramming work for me?
I also have same problem, even though I have bought vin subscription, I wrote to Gm but they said they re not having any issue, I don’t know how to handle this
So today I did a 15 sonic just an update, after many errors restarts and an hour later I got it done sps2 needs a lot more work they should waited to release it
It is supported and thats what I have been using before, But when it comes to asking for their support they will not provide a full support to you if you are using aftermarket VCI.

That video was at the beginning of an upgrade from acdelco. Everytime they come with an update they mess things up. Did you try to call tech support and give them access to your computer?
