A new affordable housing development held its grand opening this past week. Rockwood Village is the biggest example yet of what the $653 million Metro housing bond is beginning to provide after voters approved it in 2018.

About $1300 for the cheapest 1 bedroom, does not sound affordable for anyone making under $50,000 which is about the most you can make to live there and on top of that all the way out in Gresham.

Seems okay, the amenities and park sure are better than a massive parking garage in the center, we need to build way more of these to meet demand

I'm just wondering why they designed it to be so industrial looking, including painting it gray????? It doesn't look very homey, imo.

I live in Portland been here all my life and it’s a shithole now it’s used to he’s lit to live here but it’s all because people keep voting for these politicians etc that dont care about us bruh
