Hi friends, in this video I will show you How to Install my new Grille Lights and ditching my Raptor style Grille Lights on my Toyota Rav4, I decided to remove the old grille lights because one of them starts to flicker last winter, but it went back to normal when spring came, the new one I installed looks better in my opinion, I also just ran them as amber DRL, I might connect the white DRL and make the Amber switchable, all I need to do is to switch the wire of the amber and white. links below if your interested. thank you for watching.

yea those lights do not fit well at all takes a little bit of modification to make them stay..... the clips on mine were too short so they didnt hold very good. ...also considering they need to be just more slightly curved......what i did was brace them and inserted paper clips thru the clip and bent them then using needle nose pliers to grab them on inserted end and bent them up... holds in place pretty good

Yeah I mentioned that i trimmed some parts of the tabs to make sure they fit/clip in well. I never had issues on mine since the day i installed them, they stayed in place.

Did the same DRL install on my 2022 Prime. They looked great. I kept them white to match the fog lights. Turn signals light Yellow though. I also put animated DRL/Turn signals on the rear.

I don’t have a video how i installed it but i used some jb weld and some bolts i got it from ebay it’s made for older Land Cruiser

Would have been a much better instruction video if you did a DIY with the lights installed as intended which is to use them as DRL's and with Amber as signal lights. Would have been great to know how to wire them to the existing lights. But at least one could learn how to get those small grill covers off.
