Why don’t they regulate the manufactures, we buy luggage assuming we can use it! They want to regulate the passengers so they can get more cargo on the plane, they get paid lots of money for that space.
Don't get all worked up and outraged just yet folks. These "new rules" are only proposals and will not take effect for some time, if ever. There have been a few of these "clickbait" videos recently, as I said above "Don't get all worked up about it just yet".
@@campagnollo not exactly. Most global cases are still 8 or 9 inch depth. This call for 7.5 is smaller than most international airlines. Air Korean having the smallest at 7.9. To meet this in a sizer you would have to really shop to find one. It’s bs however because the bin size has not changed. They just want to force you to check it and pay the extra fee
The reason I think they are changing the bag size requirements is because of the 4 wheel bags that everyone has now. This adds an extra half-inch to the overall height of the bag which makes a 22” bag incompatible with the overhead bins. I bought a 21.5 inch Briggs and Riley carryon bag a long time ago and I have never had a problem with not having enough stuff for my trip. It is much larger than my tumi alpha briefcase by the way that I use as my underseat stowaway. In my Briggs, I can pack 8 pairs of unders, 2 jeans, 2 pants, 4 shirts and I have room to spare for shoes and swim suits etc. That’s enough for me for a week trip and I can launder if needed to stay longer.
Tie two colored ribbons around the handle to your luggage to warn others that this is not their luggage. People grab luggage at the turnstile and take it home before you ever see it. Use a man’s “half windsor” knot for the best look. Anywhere you put your bag, it could be grabbed in error. Example: overhead compartment, unloaded from the bus, at the hotel lobby, turnstile.....
so true, air transat has 20 inch, air canada 21.5 inch, delta 22 inch. it's like you need different carry-on depending on the airline company! so ridiculous. I miss the days when bag checking is free. I mean the plane ticket is paid! luggage should be included
Stop trying to put down people based on race or ethnicity. Everyone and every race has something that doesn't comply. We're all different we pronounce differently, so what? That's what makes life interesting!!
