My step father was a barber in the 60s, up until he had a heart attack and he had to make a career change. He knew that people were beginning to get there hair styled, and he said he wasn't about to go back to school to make his job more complicated. He turned to selling real estate in 1970.
As a stylist that specializes in perms, this is pretty cool to watch. Nowadays, guys that get perms request "beach waves" as much as women. I'm SURE ppl wish it only cost $35 today! 😅💸
@@vg_grover4828 Oh, it's well over that for a perm, now. Unless you go to Supercuts for a perm, although IDK if they even do them there. It's typically $210-$400, depending on length, density, & the salon.
