Lived in NH myself for like 25 years. Amazing place to live. I'd highly recommend hiking Mt. Washington rather than driving if you're up to it. Weather can be pretty crazy but such fulfilling hike. And if you're only interested in hiking up, they have ridiculously expensive shuttles back down to the bottom.

I spent my childhood in Vermont (and am moving back there from Indiana in about 3 weeks!) right on the NH border, and we did a lot of our grocery shopping in NH because they dont have sales tax. We also definitely DIDNT go over into NH to illegally transport fireworks across state lines for the 4th of July.

I remember when I was a kid I was saving for a Wii U and wanted to go buy it in New Hampshire to save like $20 on sales tax lol

Grew up in New Hampshire, hated going into stores in other states because I had no idea what the actual price was.

Can't believe you got placed into downtown Alstead haha. My family owns land near there that I go camping at every summer, and I drive through that tiny village every time. Lucky you had already seen rt 123 earlier or I suspect you might have needed to spend a bit more time searching

Lets go you got to my home state! Concord NH holds a special place in my heart. A great little city which is like about an hour from our state’s tiny coast line, the lakes region, and of course the White Mountains

Only place in NH I've been to is Portsmouth, was there briefly back in 2021, had lunch at the old ferry landing where I had some fried scallops. 10/10

the only time i went into NH was summer of 2022 when i went to MT Washington after my East Coast Canadian trip so i just barely drove through the north and into Vermont.

Mount Washington is on my bucket list to visit. Known for crazy weather conditions up there with common hurricane force winds.

I've been to Franconia Notch, and took the train up Mt. Washington! That was a pretty cool experience. Figured that sounded more interesting than just driving up. Unfortunately the summit was in a cloud so I couldn't see anything from the top, but still very cool

That second run was pretty epic the way you solved it. Used the first one to put together a really good strategy for this state and then stuck to it, and it went great! I have a question though: how do yo get these red lines on the map (the way you've been driving)? Is that a script or sth?
