I hope you do District of Columbia too! There are some surprisingly diverse landscapes in the residential sections so could actually make for an interesting round
I've been waiting for my home state! I know the counties well and still struggled on the same map. NJ has so many quirky roads and town names I was surprised you did as well as you did.
Pretty similar looking all over this state unless you live rural, don’t even know how there is rural places in this overcrowded state….. north Jersey resident Essex County
The most densely populated state is also the Garden State. An urban + rural mashup is exactly right for NJ! Great vid! Brings me back to my Jersey roots❤
My home state! Jersey has got everything. If you were to come by again i would recommend going to one of the wildlife preserves/national parks like the pine barrens! Or go to the shore a place i recommend is wildwood, atlantic city or long beach island in general
Finally my state! Really impressed with your knowledge of counties and towns, you passed NJ with flying colors! Was quite excited to see the Elizabeth round and knew right away after seeing Westfield Ave :) one tip I would have for you is a lot of the main street names in NJ are named after notable and findable towns that are nearby, so they usually point you in the right direction!
i’ve flown into newark airport more times than i could ever count, but the only time i’ve actually been to the state was when i was in east rutherford for the taylor swift concert in may. despite living in nyc i haven’t had the chance to see much of jersey!
Another state I need to explore more of. Been to the shore before I was old enough to remember, but I’ve technically been to Jersey City by going to the Statue of Liberty. I’d love to go to the Delaware Water Gap or go to the Stone Pony since I’m a big Springsteen fan.
I've mainly rode trains through it and flown into Newark Airport in recent years, but my dad frequently has business trips there, and a friend of his used to live not far from the infamous Action Park.
Used to live in NJ and have bicycled all over the state. That fourth location in the second game is somewhere I've been. I love playing this map. I find NJ easy enough to region guess that the Bergen County rounds are actually the hardest for me, since there are so many places to comb through. Fun fact about the county routes: The 500-series roads retain their numbers across multiple counties.
i've lived all across new jersey and this was very, very funny. i've lived by a few of these towns actually! the names of towns all sounding like/being used as street names and vice versa is something i'm used to, but it's hilarious to see your process of working out what's a street and what's a town
My home state! I struggle even myself to even guess where I am, even though its my own state lol. It can go from rual to city to woods, this state has everything. Love the vid!
I've got family in New Jersey so I've been there a lot but what I've done and seen is mostly "my grandma's church" and "my aunt's beach club"--if we did anything touristy on those trips we'd usually head into the city 😂
I’m from PA, but most of my extended family lives in Keansburg and Wildwood. My girlfriend also used to go to college in Hamilton, so I have big ties to at least those areas of the state.
Until recently, Freeholders were the name for the elected county board of commissioners. It was changed a few years ago, because it derived from free [white] landholders
If anyone is in CENTRAL jersey a must go is Grounds For Sculpture. It's an outdoor Sculpture museum in Hamilton very cool place with tons of hidden cool exhibits
Hey this one's actually one I've been to. Twice, actually. Visited my parents' friends in Belmar after visiting New York. Had a great time at the beach! I even came back down from Montreal the following year!😅
After about 2 minutes of trying to find the location on GeoGuesser I just guess somewhere in the state country or world but you never did that good job
