Antique clock c. 1928. "Reverie" model by the New Haven Clock Company.
See and hear this lovely antique clock as it plays all quarters of the Westminster chime and strikes 12 o'clock. Movie shows various still angles of the cabinet and then flips around to reveal a close-up of the movement in action as it strikes.
Of note; this movement is one of the smallest 3-train clock mechanisms ever produced yet remains a reliable classic. "3-train" refers to the fact that there are three discrete gear mechanisms, each powered by their own spring. Each "train" must communicate with the other so that the Westminster melody and hourly strike all happen when they should. A complicated process in a compact package!
