I’m old school so I love my 6x9’s with a good sub, I’m amazed at the advancement of these speakers compared to my very first pair of Jensen triaxials through my Pioneer SuperTuner 8 track player from 1978. That’s really all we had back then. Lol
Hey Carlos, The Rockford TMS speakers I got for my Road Glide was mediocre, I returned them. Do you think the Rockford 400 watt amp will be sufficient enough to push those Hertz SPL NEOs?
The neo just all around sounds much better. I just bought the Millie Pro 6x9 because I was told they were the best they had. Looks like the place didn't have the neo's. Shit now I want the neo's instead.
Carlos I would like your recommendations. I have a 2010 SG with the Sony xav-av7000 head unit in a metra inner fairing and I am interested in changing my amp and speakers. I have a pair of 6.5's in the fairing and a pair of 6.5's in Advan Black lowers. I also have a pair of 6x9's in the saddlebag lids. For the saddlebags I was considering the Hertz SX 690's and a pair of SV 165's and a pair of SX 165's for the fairing and the lowers. Where would you recommend putting the SX's, in the fairing or the lowers? Also please recommend which Sound Digital amp(s) to use? I was also curious in using a DSP. Is it more advantageous to use one with the Sony 7000 since it already has an EQ and high and low pass settings built into it? Carlito, I hav the RF amp and lid speakers with a DSR-1. I want more mid bass, and your videos recommend the SX165 Neo for the front and the drop in SX690 Neo for my RF lid kit. would you recommend the RF amp or an 800.4 using the rear bridged. Option two, separate midbass and tweeter for the front fairing and the SX690 for bags? Can you advise.
No They are a little too deep If you heat the top of the woofer enclosure with a heat gun And close the lid You can reform the enclosure and make It work
I personally like the hertz Neo better . I stock both but I like the hertz Neo better . I like the diamond horn tweeters better than the hertz but I like the hertz Neo speakers better than the diamond

@@keithbell8690 I like the hertz a little bit better . They both fit in the Rockford kit perfectly. If you use a 1/2 spacer they bolt right up . If you grind the tabs you won’t need the spacer
If you could message me a package, where I can buy the item here n there then I can bring items to you for install, will be much appreciated, instead of coming out of pocket all at once, so the neo, then a 6.5 and amps, that's powerfull enough to add possible lowers and or mids in bag
