Carlos I would like your recommendations. I have a 2010 SG with the Sony xav-av7000 head unit in a metra inner fairing and I am interested in changing my amp and speakers. I have a pair of 6.5's in the fairing and a pair of 6.5's in Advan Black lowers. I also have a pair of 6x9's in the saddlebag lids. For the saddlebags I was considering the Hertz SX 690's and a pair of SV 165's and a pair of SX 165's for the fairing and the lowers. Where would you recommend putting the SX's, in the fairing or the lowers? Also please recommend which Sound Digital amp(s) to use? I was also curious in using a DSP. Is it more advantageous to use one with the Sony 7000 since it already has an EQ and high and low pass settings built into it? I have a 2016 road glide ultra. I have the sx 165 neo in the fairing. I’m thinking about adding a set to the tour pak and lowers. Is there anyway to get mid bass out of them? What amp would you recommend to run all of these? Thanks.

There is a difference between water resistance and water proof / the SX 165 NEO has water resistant vs the SV 165 NEO has water proofing. The technical definition of water resistant is that it's able to resist the penetration of water to a certain degree, but not entirely. Waterproof technically means that it's impermeable to water, no matter how much time it spends in water.

A great speaker by hertz NO ONE talks about is the MLK 1650.3 they are awesome. IMHO they are severely neglected by the Motocycle audio crowd. I dumped 150-180 watts rms into them with custom XTC crossovers and they were spectacular.

Carlos 8” SPL Neo Show Coax by chance would that be coming? Need water proof speaker prefer coax to put in tour pak lid. Bou coo rain here in FL so water proof is a must. Thanks ✌️

Carlos I have a question I have a 2021 Road glide special with the stage 3 RF system factory installed, I want to change the speakers fairing and bags I see the SPL neo are best My RF I hatethe sound and one of the bag speakers is buzzing already. I live in Florida what would you suggest to replace this system. Oh BTW I have the amp in the read bag which sucks kept falling off the bag and had to relocate it. personally the RF amp sucks too. Put these 6.5 neo in fairing and lids. I hertz sp4 900 pushing all them. It’s loud but think it should be louder. Have flashed the boom radio to correct flash any suggestions on amp settings and so on?

Carlos, are the SX 165 NEO drop-in for the Tour Pak pods on an Ultra Limited/Road Glide Limited? I currently have Arc Moto 602 6.5" speakers in my 2017 Road Glide Ultra fairing, and Alpine SPR-60 6.5's (drop in fit) in my Tour Pak pods. I'm looking for a bit better sound that will use the same speaker in all four spots to run with a Biketronics BT 4180. (Not looking to swap the amp currently) and the GTS head unit. GM what amp would you run for the SV200L SPL WOOFER

How are the SV 200 L ones? No one’s does a serious look at these speakers. The box says woofers the car audio people call them sub woofers. No one talked about the cut off or band pass for them and things like that.

Don't try to use 300 rms. 8inch sx lasted 2 minutes. Crossed at 100hz. Pretty weak for 550 dollars a pair.
