On the cod file go to properties and click read only and apply so nothing can automatically change u jus have to unclick the box when u want to change something. Great videos keep them coming

As a former COD pro, i had a hard time not laughing at the title. The RIGGED gunfights in COD make skill irrelevant. Footstep audio is part of what they RIG based upon skill. The difficulty parameters change drastically depending on your skill level and this is no longer subtle nor hidden like it used to be before they had public patents backing up their "hidden algorithms". People aint ready for how deep and dark this is, money only leads you to the puppets, not the puppet masters...😊

Hey Great video! Will give this a try! Quick question: Do you think changing the number of output channels to a lower number will affect how Dolby Atmos works? Another Audio guru ArtIsWar recommended using '16' as the output number and then updated his advice and asked people to try using the default setting '0' (Granted this was mixed with his personal audio settings for louder footsteps Equalizer APO + HeSuvi + Loud EQ). Thoughts?

I'm not sure I heard Dolby Atmos is really good for this game but I haven't tried it yet. I'm assuming Dolby probably mixes it into their own custom output so whatever channel preset has footsteps on a channel with the least amount of other sounds is probably the best for a program like that. The problem is Call of Duty doesn't tell us how the different channels are mixed. I've been wanting to try Dolby I'll have to experiment with it.

What do you use for your Astro preset in the command center on the advance eq

Lately I've just been using the "Natural Bass" preset it seems the clearest for footsteps. I do have a couple custom ones but they were from Caldera. I copied the steel series footstep frequencies into the Astro Command Center. I might try to make a custom one for this game tonight, see if I can't find something better.

Well following this video made me realize I have the default format greyed out to DVD quality and can’t find a way to change that. Any idea on why that might be? I run a wireless Astro A50 and it sounds pretty bad quality wise

r u on windows 10 or 11? If your on 11 try right clicking on the little speaker icon and then scroll down to the bottom to where it says "more sound settings" and click it, after that you'll be at the little window that windows 10 users have. After that go to your headset and make sure its set to default device by right clicking on it and then go to properties, next go to the advanced tab and see if you can change it there. When I first switched to windows 11 I had the same problem, it wasn't until I figured out how to get to the advanced tab that I could change it.
