Jamaicain5 thanks for the video. Wow this is incredible I guess this is a long highway because I watched some recent videos and nothing was paved. This is spectacular. 👍👏
Well this is just gorgeous, I am very proud to be a part of this rock call jamaica. May God continue to Bless our country and pour out all the blessings on us. We should be further ahead but we are slowly getting there. The next big project is every single Jamaican should have water in their home. Road development, water, and light , if everybody has these amenities the growth will come. Bless up my island home sweet sweet Jamaica. Bless up everybody from the western Jamaica. Other
HIGH Jamaicain5 ::: LOVE THE MUSICAL SCORE WITH THIS VIDEO, HIGHWAY FROM WESTMORELAND TO MONTEGO BAY..#Jamaicain5:: IT WOULD BE VERY NICE IF YOU COULD DO A FOLLOW UP RERUN OF NEW HIGHWAY FROM Westmoreland To Montego Bay Jamaica..TO SEE THE FINAL COMPLETION OF THE FINISH HIGHWAY FROM WESTMORELAND TO MONTEGO BAY.. THANKS I ENJOYED VIEWING THIS VIDEO...
Jamaican5 I am watching this again this time on my computer. Just a quick observation and question. Will this highway run into the Junction highway? or is this totally different? I know I asked before I just wanted to be certain. Because I guess this is yet another road project aside from the Junction road job? Also I notice you had to blow your horn at some kids. Did I see wrong because that is a disaster waiting to happen. How can they be swimming so close to the highway? Seem like they need to Fence that off and keep the kids off the road. Jamaica is looking good I envy you but I hopefully I will be there one day to experience all these places. Thanks for the videos.
Sir, please disregard the commentary on your use of the word highway in the title of this video. I can’t tolerate these viewers with their negative commentary or constant need to correct others. Thank you for the uploads. Viewing them are now part of my weekend morning ritual to relax and unwind from a hectic work week. The scenery is truly remarkable. Having said that, you’ve just gained another subscriber. All the best!
the reptilians who build the roads they mean us no good, is the road ours ? pray , the next 5 yrs you and your children are slaves in this very land , i tell you . wake up and pray anything you say toTthe Most High he will hear , because he knows the wickedness of the reptillians against us . our national anthem is a very good prayer to start with . peace .
You are really simple you think the Asians are going to take the high way with them. At least you have something to show, and I see we are brainwashed by the west(our slave masters) as no one seems to complain regarding the IMF in past decades, in which all the government did was corruption and there was nothing too tangible. Should we go back to the IMF, are should we follow a path that showing progress.
@@Jamaicain5 and I know some simpleton is going to jump in the comments box and ask what will happen to the bus man, taxi drivers and the toll road its called giving the people choices every one do not use same travel arrangements in 2019 cruise ships still doing business and planes still doing business 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
STUNNING VIEWS, THIS ROAD HAS A ZEN LIKE QAULITY TO IT, DROVE ON IT DECEMBER 2019. VERY SERENE LOOKING PLACE, THE MODERNIZATION OF JAMAICA CONTINUES. WITH HELP FROM THE CHINESE.
Another problem I got is, the NWA does not sign roads....there should be continuous signages that tells u the highway code, as well as proper directional signs. It's easier to get lost in Jamaica than in the United States if u know what I mean.
I would hope when it's completed it's at least 2 lanes each way. At least when it's feasible since some places are narrow and houses are already built.
It is a great improvement over what was there back in the day when I used to travel this B8 highway constantly going to Sav, either from MoBay or some point in Hanover. Once the Long Hill Bypass to Montpelier is complete, it should tie in nicely to this highway. If the foot-dragging on the Lucea Bypass continues, might even make this route faster to Negril. Just wish along with this improvement some attention would be paid to the inner roads connecting to these main road improvements. Right at the mentioned Mackfield was a time-saving shortcut that I and many others used to get to places in Hanover like Hopewell or Cold Spring/Great Valley/Pondside, even Cascade, via Mt Peto/Gurneys Mount. That road I am now told is so bad, that only persons who have no choice struggle along with it. 6:05 in the video sort of highlights the issue of how other roads get left behind with improvement.
Jamaicain5 ……….I love positive people like you, most bloggers and media houses, think it cute to only highlight the bad news, which we already know exist, but a Rd.way like this needs to be highlighted too especially since the opposition said the Rd work was limited only to the Kingston area.
Stop your bull shit.if Peter Phillips did not get the country finance in order none of this would be possible. when Andrew lost to Portia the country was bankrupt. That's why Jamaica had toPp go back to the IMF. Audrey Shaw knew the country was bankrupt but didn't. Want to go to the IMF. The debt to GDP ratio was almost 150. FYI that means every dollar the govern takes in they were spending $1.50 When the PNP leave it was 120
I'm asking for an upgrade on the South Coast Main Road ,from Alligator Pond via Plowden Hill Cross Keys to Toolgate, it is really especially Sanco Gully ,bad bad bad, please Mr Holness, we would like Tourist drive the South Coast Main Road like the north coast, even to fill the potholes and scrape the roadside, give the people a brake even for a forthnite, the road is so bad it hard for children to walk safely to school, please Mr Holness, and thank U RU-vid ...
Just think of train going through Jamaica by the ocean sides and mountains rage wen I use to lived in Los angels train ride from Los angels to Santa Barbara men scenery was wicked
Jamaica has trains. Too. But need a modern high speed train The country is not ass small as its perimtre.its got many mountains and that triples its travel distance.. For the simple minded. Jamaican borders is 254.000 Square kms.of land and sea. Just the main island is 10.900.00 Sq.kms big.multiply that by 25.and thats jamaicas land and sea borders. Without counting its mountains.distant So for those who minimize jamaica.shut up and do your study.
It is very nice to see these new and improved road ways across the island. I think the next move is re-education on road safety and driver education in Jamaica. I have seen many reckless and out-right callous driving behaviors in Jamaica. Last year, I was driving to Negril from Mandeville with my kids. Some sections of the road were very bad and tricky to navigate. What I experience(nothing new) were drivers that would consistently speed and overtake in dangerous locations like: with un-coming vehicles and around corners. What was most appalling is; that many of these bad drivings were being done by drivers of passenger vehicles(buses/Taxis). I was on a section of road close to Blackriver, and this idiot sped up and squeezed between me and a bus, just to over take me... The guy ended up stopping at a shop less than half mile later. No one has any patience anymore or respect for others on the road. Disclaimer, these practices are not unique to Jamaica, but I love my people and these things need to stop. keep up the road improvements.
Junior Mcclure PNP supporters no doubt! How can anyone be against any improvements in a country is beyond rational explanation. Keep up the good work Jamaica, about time we take our rightful place as a developing nation. Too much of our post independence has squandered with useless governments.
This is very misleading it doesn’t go all the way to Montego Bay ....it does cut the journey time significantly but part of that journey is still on a treacherous long hill
How Bunting se the Govt. only improving Roads. in the Cooperate area, while ignore outside of same saying the Govt. will not get any props from Rd work, becuz of it the limited to the Kingston, him start tell lie aready and him not even elected as Opposition leader yet.
Clearly it was them part of video he stopped for the work crew and it was there names on the equipment. It’s much better, they build better roads and don’t eat off the money.
Jamaicans living in Jamaica take Jamaica's beauty for granted because they see it every day. Jamaicans living abroad and visitors appreciate Jamaica's beauty because they don't see it every day.
